Sears Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning

I recently had to move but before I did had to clean my carpets in my two bedroom apartment. I called Sears and got a pretty good quote of $150 for my two bedroom apartment. They were a little late for their appointment but overall did a pretty good job removing a couple of stains I had created.

For over 20 years, Sears Carpeting have been cleaning carpets. My parents have used them and now I use them. Our tenant had moved out and needed to get the carpets cleaned before the new people moved in. The technician was friendly and provided me with good suggestions to get stains out of my carpet. He also recommended a deoderizer to get the smell out and left the suite with a lemony scent that wasn't over powering. They did a good job and would use the again.

Do not use them!! We were given a quote of $400 to clean upholstery and an area rug. We went with it because we were going to be out of town and my mother in law was going to be there. Thought a reputable company like Sears would just get the job done for the price they quoted. Technician charged my mother in law $710 after adding on extras without consent. Can't get manager to return my phone calls. Classic case of those sales people who like to take advantage of seniors.

I made an appointment to have 2 loveseats shampooed. The technician was rude and kept telling me there was no point in him doing it because I didn't want to pay for sanitizing when he was done shampooing. I am a senior citizen and told him I couldn't afford an additional service. He really got angry and started raising his voice to intimidate me. I told him to do the work or I would call the office. He finally did it and left. I phoned the manager that day and they did nothing. He promised to send out a technician to do a complimentary spot cleaning when they were in the area sometime. That was a year and a half ago and I haven't heard from them since. Absolutely don't use them.

Our rental suite was just vacated and the carpets were in need of a good clean for the next tenants. Since my parents were home owners, they have always trusted the Sears name in home services. We called them and they were polite and made an appointment quickly. The service gentleman came on time and did the job quickly even removing stains that were probably there for over 2 years. Thanks again Sears for wonderful home services.

I removed the carpets and found my wood floor to be saturated; we had to bring in blowers to dry the area. I no longer have carpet. You have been warned.

I hadn't had my carpets professionally cleaned in a couple of year because I'd purchased a good home unit. I was having relatives visiting so i thought I'd spring for a pro job. I was surprised to see after that they did not do a better job than my bissell. I was shocked when the guy handed me a bill for 600 bucks for a couple of hours work. I will not be using their over priced service ever again, or any other so called carpet pro. Buy your own unit!

Not sure if this is the right company/contractor who performed service on my couch repair but it is connected with Sears. After having purchased a couch about 6 months before, I started noticing a slight rip near the seam of one of the cushions and called Sears to see if they can replace or fix this. It took some time before we were able to coordinate the timing in order for them to send someone out due to my work schedule. The person who was setting up the booking was very diligent in trying to work around my schedule and called me 3 times in order to see if certain times would work for me as they had a pending work order and at 1 of the previous scheduled times, I had to cancel. She was very good and the person who arrived here finally was extremely friendly and courteous also. He did the job and I was very satisfied with the outcome.

I have two dogs so you can imagine the amount of dirt that gets tracked through the house. One of my dogs is quite old and just recently has had a couple of accidents on the carpet. I called Sears Home Central Cleaning and they assured me that they could clean the stained area and rid the carpet of the urine smell. I was very impressed that they were able to achieve everything they promised using green products! I am very sensitive to chemical smells and I also try to respect our environment. It is nice to see that Sears Carpet Cleaning respects the environment as well. Two days later, the office secretary called back to see if I was still satisfied with the job. I felt that the company really cared about my satisfaction. I had heard that they also do furnace duct cleaning so I booked an appointment for that as well. While the technician was here he informed me that they also do dryer vent cleaning. When he explained what a fire hazard they can be I was happy to have him do the extra job while he was here. I found the technician to be very knowledgeable and efficient. I was extremely satisfied with all the jobs that Sears Carpet Cleaning did for me and I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to a friend. I understand they also have a maid service and I could certainly use some help in that area as well. It is like one stop shopping with this company and they do it all so well!
