I was putting my condo on the market as I was moving to Buffalo. The walls were painted dark colours and the light carpet was dirty and worn. I wanted everything freshly painted in white and a new laminate in dark grey installed. I hired J Designers at the recommendations of my real estate agent. Not only did they do an amazing job with the painting and flooring, but since I was already in Buffalo with my children, they packed up all our furniture and belongings and shipped them to me. The work was done very quickly and my condo sold within a week.

JDesigners renovated our main floor. we waited 4 years to do this renovations and wanted to make sure that we got the right contractor. we heard about JDesigners and gave them a call. their immediate response and follow up was impressive. we almost went with another company but I was sold on Hailey's design. Jdesigners were working in our neighbourhood. We contacted them and same week they were at our doors giving ideas and suggestions. We waited for a few months and then finally signed contract. We highly recommend Rizzo and J Designers due to their professional expertise and reasonable price. Rizzo reviews your requirements and offers very helpful suggestions along the way. The team is friendly, courteous, reliable and they do not leave until you are completely satisfied. They have completed numerous projects for us and we will continue to call on them in the future.

If you are ok with basement renovation to last more than 3 months (and counting) instead of the original estimate of 8 weeks then JDesigners might work for you. Project Manager appreciates that you give him a detailed to-do list instead of them providing those for you as a customer. You might want to talk to the trades yourself to make sure that all your wishlists are met. A lot of lessons learned and days spend for re-doing the job because most often it is not done the right way the first time. Very free flowing timeline, no rush on anything, some days they show up, some days not, very light commitment on what can be achieved each day. Goals are sometimes set but most often are not met. Work starts at around 11 and ends before 3 (on the days that they show up). Hot water stopped working at some point after pipes were added and they took the time to research and ask help from contractors forums so we were taking shower on frigid water for about 3 weeks. Oh, and you must have an unlimited phone plan cause you will need to chase and call the project manager all the time to follow up on status, it helps sending same texts several times to get noticed.

I was highly satisfied with the paint job done at my home. The finished job was done exceptionally well and the feature wall was a very welcomed bonus. Many visitors to my house questioned if it was stenciled and were surprised that it was done free-hand. I also have to comment on how patient the workers were with my demands. I recommend JDesigners especially if you need a feature wall done it is pure art.
