If you are ok with basement renovation to last more than 3 months (and counting) instead of the original estimate of 8 weeks then JDesigners might work for you. Project Manager appreciates that you give him a detailed to-do list instead of them providing those for you as a customer. You might want to talk to the trades yourself to make sure that all your wishlists are met. A lot of lessons learned and days spend for re-doing the job because most often it is not done the right way the first time. Very free flowing timeline, no rush on anything, some days they show up, some days not, very light commitment on what can be achieved each day. Goals are sometimes set but most often are not met. Work starts at around 11 and ends before 3 (on the days that they show up). Hot water stopped working at some point after pipes were added and they took the time to research and ask help from contractors forums so we were taking shower on frigid water for about 3 weeks. Oh, and you must have an unlimited phone plan cause you will need to chase and call the project manager all the time to follow up on status, it helps sending same texts several times to get noticed.
