You can't go wrong with Don. Right from the start, he was very prompt with returning messages and making himself available for an appointment on very short notice. Don arrived earlier than us - he was already inspecting the exterior of the house. He is meticulous and knowledgeable - took his time to inspect every part of the house while providing useful house tips along the way. I honestly believe there is no one better than DON at what he does. To be frank, I have never met anyone more dedicated than him. Don takes what he does very seriously. In fact, it's more than a job for him. He's been doing this for so long and I'm so intrigued to the level of detail and interest he holds. Very meticulous during the inspection. Went almost inch by inch until he found things that most other inspectors might have missed. Very punctual of course, he came half an earlier than the time we said so that he could inspect the outside home, the roof and perimeters. In fact, his quality of work is way more worth than the price he charged. Great man! He has my recommendations in a heart beat.

I want to thank Don for his professional services. He did a home inspection for me several weeks ago. This was a pre-listing inspection, I wanted to have my own professional evaluation of my house as a seller. I found the inspection very valuable, Don had great advice and demonstrated he had indepth and practice knowledge, gave recommendations on the issues he did find. The documentation has helped my 23 year old house compete with the 2-3 year old houses it's selling against. Don did a home inspection for the condo I just purchased. Don was on time and ready to begin as soon as he walked in. His inspection was detailed and thorough. He provided lots of tips on everyday maintenance of the condo as well as things I should have fixed before I move in. Home buying can be overwhelming and expensive. I have read online and been told that condos don't need an inspection like a home. But Don identified many things I can do to prevent nasty surprises down the road which I would not have thought of. I would recommend Don for home inspection.

Don is the type of home inspector you want, no you NEED to have with you to do your home inspection, especially if you're a first time home buyer like we were. We came across Don through Homestars and seeing that he was featured and recommended highly, and the fact that he spent nearly 30 minutes on the phone with me talking about our first home purchase and the issues that may arise, was something that I really, really did appreciate. He went through everything and allowed me to make my decision on choosing the right home inspector.

On the day of the inspection, he showed up early, and was ready to go on everything, despite the cold weather and tremendous amounts of snow on the ground.

Remember how I said Don is the guy you need? The reasons for that are that he is: a) to the point b) tells you everything without any filter and c) very clear and concise with the issues.

He did a much better job than the builder appointed home inspector (ya, no surprise there since SHE worked for the builder and as a duty to protect their interests and not ours).

Now, nothing major was found, but there were enough minor infractions that the builder-home inspector did not notice that made Don worth hiring in the first place. He highlighted things that normally get fixed in the 30 day warranty period that were fixed immediately, simply because he pointed them out. He even got the inspector from the builder mad, for simply doing his job which is to be thorough.

At the end of everything, Don provided us a CD with over 200 pictures, detailed report, and then later mailed us a digital and typed copy of everything for easy entry into the tarion website.

I would absolutely recommend Don, and will be using him again, he even assured me that if I were to move anywhere in the GTA that he'd be available to do our inspection. Don is also a Leafs fan, and is great to talk to overall.

Called Don and left him a message called me back the same day. He is very professional knows what he is talking about. I am in construction myself and knew quickly from the conversation we had. Gave me some good tips as well. will use him again for the next house and tell all my friends about him.

I hired Don to do an inspection and he did not dissapoint! He was there 30mins early to inspect the roof and outside grounds. He spent a solid 3 hrs+ taking his time inside and out photographing everything. He showed me anything he noted that needed attention, large or small, and explained in detail what the causes of the problems were and what needed to be done. Don clearly knows what he is doing and gave great advice straight and honestly.
I would absolutely use Don again and gladly recommend him to anyone.
