My husband purchased a WagJag on June 13th for Carpet Kings to get 3 Rooms plus 1 Hallway cleaned. I promptly called the next day to schedule an appointment. I was greeted by rude monotone women, with the attitude that I was bothering her with my call. She informed me that we couldn’t get our carpets cleaned until Aug 17th, over 2 months away! Although we were disappointed that it would take so long, we decided to book with them as we needed our carpets cleaned in our basement as our basement had flooded previously.
On Aug 17th I called in the morning to confirm that they were coming, the same rude women answers and said they’ll be there by 1:30 pm. Come 2:00 pm no one has showed up, so I try calling (multiple times) but only get voice-mail. I finally get a hold of someone who informs me they'll call me back. Which they eventually do, with bad news: We'll get no service today. Evidently on the way to our place the van got pulled over by the police, and impounded, they're not quite sure why, but they'll try and re-book us. Shocked by the fact that the guy actually told me that the man that was coming to my house has now presumably been taken in by the cops, I said that I would think about if I’d actually want to rebook.
My husband and I discussed it, and although we really didn’t want to rebook with them, we still needed our carpets cleaned and figured this would be faster to rebook with them than with another company, and we already had the wagjag for them. When I called to rebook, the same rude woman said that I could get a new appointment Sept 27th (a month away!). No consideration was taken to move us up because they “f’ed” up. Pretty pathetic if you ask me.
But it doesn’t end there. Come Sept 27th I call around 11:00 to confirm that they are coming at 2:30pm. Alas, I get the same rude women who says that the guy who was suppose to clean our house is sick and won’t be coming, and I can rebook for the end of October. Not only did she not call me to tell me this (I called her), but she was rude, and again wouldn’t give an earlier appointment after canceling on use TWICE! After complaining that this was ridiculous, I asked to speak to her manager, she said he was out. I asked to leave a message on his voice mail. She gave me a number, when I called the number no one answered and I got a voice mail which was a recording that was in the rude woman’s voice just saying the number that she had given me (no name of a “manager” or any other indication of identity of the person I had just called). I left a message explaining our situation and how disappointed I was and what poor business they were practicing, and asked if he could call me back. I never heard back.
Right now we are trying to get our money back from WagJag. The whole experience was ridiculous. I have never seen such poor business practice in my life. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY WILL SCREW YOU!
