Integrity, passion, and plain old-fashioned hard work!! that is how i would describe Kurt and his team. we had some work done in 2016 and again this year (2017) we had the guys back for a small fencing project. The standard of work and care are obvious from the moment they arrive till they leave. They are friendly, courteous, and professional, and I am happy to recommend them.

Kurt and his crew were very professional and courteous. For my project they paid attention to details, the work was neat, clean with perfect alignment of the stones on my back patio and walkway. Kurt was very accommodating when I wanted to make a change to the original layout and when I asked him if he could remove some lattice and river rock I no longer wanted in the yard. He did the work quickly so there was little inconvenience for us, but he did a great job. My wife is very pleased with the choice of stone which was recommended by Kurt. She's excited to use her yard again. My neighbour came by to check out the work Kurt had done and complimented me on the look. I have more plans for the yard and will definitely use Distinctive Designs Landscaping again.

Out with the old deck and in with the interlocking patio! Kurt and his team were awesome to work with. When I described to Kurt my “vision”, he helped with bringing it to light; including a gas fire pit that I never originally thought of and have no regrets in adding.

Putting aside a pushed out start date due to Mother Nature, his team had the work completed in less than the estimated time .

Needless to say, we’ve been enjoying our patio and fire pit more over the past 2 weeks than we would have with the former deck.

Would I look to work with Kurt again? ABSOLUTELY!! Already have plans in mind for additional outdoor reno.

NB: I should also add that the clean up job after was amazing!

Kurt and his team did work at our house in late April/early May 2017 and we couldn't be happier with the whole entire process. From the first meeting to the quote to the finished product, Kurt and his team were professional and answered all of our questions or concerns. We have had friends and family over since the work was completed and they are just stunned by the transformation of the backyard and the craftsmanship. I would recommend Kurt to anybody as you won't be disappointed.

Our experience with Distinctive Design was exceptional. Kurt provided us with an all in quote and was through in his explanation. He helped us to pick the stone that would best match our house and kept in touch until the time had arrived for our work to be completed. His crew worked hard and efficiently. The end result was better than our expectations. I would definitely use Distinctive Design again for any of our landscaping needs.

AMAZING! It's been two months now, and not only do I still smile when I drive up to my house and see the fantastic work

We had our backyard patio designed and installed by Kurt and his team at Distinctive Designs Landscaping this past week. The design is spot on... works perfectly with the look and feel we were looking for. The attention to details , the craftsmanship is superb. Kurt and his team are very professional and courteous. This was our second project with Distinctive Designs and we will be hiring them for future projects.

We were in desperate need of a backyard makeover. We wanted something that would be little to no maintenance and were even thinking of getting "fake" grass to achieve this (I wasn't sold on this, but my husband really wanted it).

We had Kurt over to have a look and right away knew that he was the right person. He is very knowledgeable and was able to make recommendations and suggestions to meet our needs while still respecting the budget. He was extremely flexible when we added some work to the initial contract and him and his entire crew were so efficient and professional.

Our project included: a stone patio, small deck, window wells, lighting and fixing of some broken fence posts and yes - we did go with the fake grass - and it looks awesome - people cannot believe it is not real.

The yard was immaculate when they were done and we could not be happier with the results. We would not hesitate to recommend Kurt and his crew and will definitely be calling him when we are ready to do our front yard.
