Hardwood Giant

Extremely poor install. I had to pay a contractor to fix their work. They broke my screen door and refused to pay for it. Installers were 3 hours late each day. They lacked the proper tools and made a mess of the floors.

I purchased laminate flooring from their Scarborough location. The salesman was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. When I told him I was working with a tight budget and that I was interested in laminate, he directed me right to that section, not pressuring me to buy something way over my budget. The colour I first chose was not in stock so he helped me choose another product which was equally as beautiful. I was able to pick up the material the following week right from the store which was very convenient. While I was disappointed at the time that they did not have the colour I had first picked, I felt the salesman did what he could to help me and I am pleased with the end result.

Look at all the zero reviews at the their main Hardwood Giant page. Those reviews are for all their locations including this one. We had a terrible experience with Hardwood Giant and would not recommend anyone to shop there.

Be very careful with this company. Once they get your deposit - its game over. Don't trust their promises ; they do not honor contracts. Legal matters are a big hassle so why not avoid the headache and go elsewhere. I wish we had.

We are shocked at some of the things they said and did. We are amazed this company continues to do business.

Would highly advise to seek more reputable vendors.

Be very careful with this company. Look at the many zero rating reviews - after the initial deposit is received, they got you and things become unpredictable at best. At worst, it will be a nightmare as it was for us.

We cannot believe at some of the business practices we endured dealing with Hardwood Giant. They are careless, dishonest and attempt to intimidate.

We dealt with Jamal, Anjum and Shaik. They seem very nice at first. Their objective is to secure the deal and grab your deposit ASAP. Their prices indeed are reasonable and they may even lower it still to get your deposit.Trust us - you don't just get what you pay for - you get a lot more trouble than what you thought possible.
They are deceitful and savvy in the ways of intimidation and coercion.Something they obviously had a lot of practice with.

Walk away - whatever their prices or their words, this experience is not worth it. It is possible to find similar prices or better at reputable stores.

I would like to publicly announce that my family and myself are amazed with both the service and the final product of our renovation.

We were helped by Mr. Shaik Rahmathullah. We first wanted to go with just replacing the carpets in our bedrooms. He was helping us to what we wanted but also suggested instead of carpet, to go with hardwood. Overall, we are really happy with his suggestion and the finished project.

I recommend Hardwood Giant's service to anyone interested in any flooring work done and suggest looking for Shaik to provide your service.

The worst place ever. After they get your money they ignore any requests. I put a deposit 1000$ for floor replacement in Scarborough location but they did not manage to complete even estimates. I am not able to get my money back despite of all promises. They disrespect your time and have 100 of excuses not to return your money, their attitude is humiliating and apathetic. They rated F by Better Business Bureau, unfortunately I find out this based on my personal experience.
People, do not repeat my mistake! I have to apply for customer protection and then I will take them to a small court.

I went to Brampton office to return 5 boxes of hardwood which was left after installing the hardwood at my home. The salesperson Shaik provided exceptional service and helped me process the return. Recommend to talk to Shaik if you plan to buy hardwood

We did laminate flooring through our entire second floor and are very pleased with the product. Hardwood Giant was excellent with their service, selection, pricing and delivery. I'd recommend them to anyone doing a flooring renovation.

Great hardwood selection. We bought red oak hardwood for our second floor.Everything looks great after installation. We had extras left over and was returned without problems. Great show room salesman SHAIK, everything promised was delivered!

Great customer service from A.J who was helpful throughout the process of install and delivery! We shopped around at other stores however, we found the best prices & service at Hardwood Giant for our laminate and hardwood. Professional, top notch service & all product was in stock and delivered at our convenience! We are extremely happy & will definetely return for future flooring projects!
