After searching BBB and online for affordable moving companies, found A+ rated Cube Van for Hire. They lacked user reviews online, but we took a risk. Turns out to be a huge mistake. No questions were asked about the quantity of our contents. We were told the names of 2 movers who would be on our move, but 2 different movers came. Movers got lost and showed up 30 minutes late. We were told the credit card machine wasn't available when in fact it was (don't know if it was an honest mistake?). Truck had a ramp that hooked to the truck on one side, and rested on the truck floor on the other making it uneven (and caused an item placed on it to fall and break). One mover came smelling like alcohol and wasted time by stopping to talk frequently; asked a family member for a beer halfway into the move. The other commented that three movers should have been sent and that they were being paid low wages; he was meticulous, but slower than we hoped (perhaps because it wasn't a coordinated effort). In the end it took 8 hours to move a 1 bedroom+den, (800 sq ft) condo. Complaints were, in my opinion, handled unprofessionally, during the move and afterward. On a more positive note, the company has offered to repair a table that broke when a mover sat on it.

Eric, Could you please delete your negative comments. It has been years and this has gone on for long enough. Steve (The one you gave the beer to) was struck down by a taxi cab last February and died at the scene. He was a good worker but had a drinking problem, he had been let go a year before your move. Steve came back to work under the condition that he does not drink before or during any work day. Steve said that you offered him the beer. I don't know if he asked for the beer or you gave it to him only you know that now. The point here is that he should not have been given any beer. I hope that you can see it in yourself that enough is enough and remove your post...Thanks, Andy -----------
And for anyone reading this, we at Cube Van For Hire Inc are very disturbed with the negative ad generators (Yelp and Homestars) We have had positive views submitted by customers and family to both Yelp and Homestars and none were published. We have had companies email us with a plan of posting positive reviews for a price. There is no arbitration for grievances and/or complaints. We are not a numbered company that changes it name at will, we have been in the business with the same name since 1995. If you want the get correct info on a company, get it from www bbb.org
