Called PPC Services and spoke with owner Jim Petty about a pest control issue. Jim came out to my home within a couple of days and remedied the problem. Quick, efficient & professional service. Would highly recommend this business to anyone looking for pest control. Will use again in future if needed.

After researching and finding great reviews, I called PPC to come and take a look at our carpenter ant problem, Jim came out and was exceptionally friendly and professional. He did a treatment that was not going to affect our pets.

I live in a town house complex and heard my neighbour having trouble with squirrels chewing underneath her window and getting into her home and building a nest. I didn't think I had a problem...until my neighbour came over and showed me the holes underneath my window sill.

I called about 7 Pest Control Services in the Hamilton/Burlington area, and was surprised at the lack of patience in being able to answer my questions over the phone and $550 + cost just to come out and put a trap. One company wanted me to pay them $350 just to come and look at the problem.

Jim was soooo patient with me over the phone and polite, more polite than the cell phone company I call and pay over 100$ a month for (you know what I'm talking about). Now I am perfectionist and ask a lot of questions...he was soooo calm on the phone before he came and explained everything. Then when he came he was very polite and calm, and made me feel 110% comfortable with what he was going to do and how he was going to do it.

Day 1 - He set a trap.
Day 2 - Came and put a one way door over the hole and mesh under all window sills.
Day 3 - Came back, caught all the squirrels, foamed the area and coveredit all up with steel netting.

What I liked most was that he didn't just come once and leave me with the problem for a week. He came and within 3 days the squirrels were caught and holes covered.

This is the type of service you need, when you are in a panic about the state of your home, and the animals making the situation worse. When you are stressed about the animals returning or the problem not getting fixed, Jim stays calm and comes right away.

This is the guy you need, for all the perfectionists and people who love their homes. He's like buying a brand name purse at a Winners price!!!! :)

Jim was great! I emailed a few companies and he got back to me within the hour. He checked our roof to find nothing. We knew there were three raccoons in the area so we decided to use traps. Because there are a large number of cats in our neighborhood he set them on the roof so no cats were accidentally trapped. After three days of catching nothing, we brought the traps down and placed them outside at night. We still had two days of nothing. Just as I was ready to give up, we caught them. Jim came and removed the family of three in a very gentle and kind manner. Thanks Jim!

Jim arrived within an hour of our call and was excellent! He was humane in his removal and treatment of the animals. Patient and skilled! We would highly reccommend him.

Jim Petty came promptly to my home to remove the critters from my attic. He responded quickly to my distress call as the mother had fallen through my bedroom ceiling, leaving an approximate 2x2 foot gaping hole in the ceiling. Jim professionally, secured my home, and the hole in the roof to try to catch the culprit in a humane way. Despite various attempts the mother was elusive as was her family of 4. Regardless, Jim came back to my home several times and always in a professional, efficient manner and finally was able to install the one way door and the family moved on.

Jim was very pleasant, kind, helpful, and he "got the job done right"..... He was very efficient, brought in additional staff when required, and was respectful of my property while removing the animals. We discovered one early morning that a skunk had decided to live underneath our shed beside our house.

We called Jim and he came within hours to the house. He laid traps for the skunk. I also informed him that I had a rabbit as well. Jim laid a trap for it as well.

The skunk and rabbit were both caught within days. Jim came and picked up 'our friends' for a humane release far away from me.

I highly recommend Jim and his company for any of this type of work.

PPC was very professional and prompt to remove a rodent from our home. The technician looked throughout our home for points of entry and made some good recommendations. I would highly recommend using PPC. I have recommended them to the company I work at for our pest control too.

My husband and I ended up bringing bed bugs back from a vacation. We were horrified because we had heard the stories of how difficult a pest these monsters were to get rid of. The morning after our discovery, under slept and completely grossed out, we began to do some serious research and plan our attack. We knew we were going to need professional help but we wanted to play it safe and get some extra ammo against these intruders. After finishing our shopping list (including a steam cleaner and a million other Internet recommended items), we called petty pest control to set up an appointment.

Jim was an amazing support from that first phone call. He even asked me what we were planning to buy and recommended against dropping serious cash on the big ticket items, assuring me that he could supply some of those things for the first attack. He even convinced my husband not to throw out all our furniture!

When he went through the house to check out the situation he was so nice, and made us feel like we could win the battle! He was able to schedule a time that worked with our awkward work schedule, came on time and went above and beyond to help us through th unsettling situation. Such a great guy, and he knows the enemy well. Haven't seen one since his visit! It's definitely in your best interest to go with Petty Pest Control!
