I am pleased to be able to provide a positive review for GVA Plumbing. I needed to get a hot water tank installed and wanted to take advantage of the current Fortress BC rebates. I contacted several plumbers on Home Stars and received quotes from $1,500 to $2,500. Most insisted they supply the tank of their choice (only a 6 year warranty) and listed numerous extras.
From the moment I contact GVA Plumbing it was a positive experience. Mehmet has a great attitude and was very professional. I explained I had purchased a Rheem Energy Star tank with a 12 year warranty. We set a date and time to do the job. When the day came he arrived on time and was ready to go. I showed him the hot water tank and he proceeded to get to work right away. I was very pleased with his knowledge & certifications. Professionally trained as a plumber in Germany, Mehmet knew all the relevant building codes and had modern tools of the trade. After 40 years of doing my own home renovations it was a pleasure to finally have somebody in my house I was comfortable with and had confidence I was getting great value for service. He stuck to the quote provided from our first conversation and provided updates throughout the job on the improvements he did to meet new building codes. I saved a significant amount of money and am very happy with the work he did. Hope this review helps anyone looking to get a great plumber.
