This review is for recaulking 3 sides of a bathtub, which involved removing the old grout and replacing it with new.
The technician was professional and did a great job. On arrival, we discussed the scope of the work. After speaking with him, I could tell he was experienced and knew what he was doing. He also showed photos of previous jobs, which really helped and gave me confidence that we were on the same page. The caulking was done well-straight, evenly applied & not too thick.
He came prepared with all necessary tools. It took under an hour to do the work, once finished, he cleaned up without leaving any trace of mess. I was very happy with the end result.
Getting an estimate was simple. After submiting my requirements online. a quote was received within 2 days. Once accepting the quote, a deposit was made to secure an appointment.
All communication was done by email. The woman that took care of the booking had a friendly, positive, courteous manner. She always replied promptly to questions, usually within an hour or less.
The rating would have been 10/10 if the technician had arrived on time or at least within 10-15 min of the scheduled time, instead of half an hour later Although ODDJOB did send notification that he was enroute and expected to arrive within 30 min. it was only sent a few minutes prior to the scheduled time.
In respect for other peoples time, a suggestion would be to send notification of ETA 45 -60 min prior to the scheduled time, not a few min. before.
I've had this type of job done before by another company, and glad I found ODDJOb and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again,
