My garage door was smashed over the long weekend and I had to board it. Called a couple of companies that have 24hr service and all of them told me that their lead time was between 2 and 3 weeks. Then I turned on the home start and read the reviews for Easy Access Garage Doors. Decided to call Chris and he answered immediately and in a couple of hours he came to see the situation and advised for all possible solutions. In the end decided to replace complete the garage door. Also, the best part is that it took him only 3 days to get the new door. So, I called him Tuesday night and he installed the door for me Friday afternoon, when meanwhile I was out of city. Thank you Chris for your service and honesty. Definitely will recommend Chris to anybody that need a honest and qualitative service. Thank You again.

Chris is the guy. Courteous, professional, efficient, and utmost knowledgeable. He replaced the broken spring and checked up on the other doors as well. You stand to loose if you don't call him for anything to do with garage doors or openers.

I called Chris to enquire about my garage door which was refusing to open anymore. On the phone he gave me a few helpful tricks to see if any of them would fix my door. Which I appreciated considering if they worked i would he would be losing my business. Turns out my garage door's springs were broken. Chris was punctual and did a great job fixing my door and even helped me get the door to set with my car (even though it was a stupid question on my part). Would definitely recommend Chris to anyone who needs help with their door.

Chris (and an assistant) found the time on a Saturday morning to replace my garage door cable that had broken a few days earlier . I had also disconnected the garage door from the opener so that I could get my car in and out and in the processes I had twisted the chain (so it no longer worked properly). Chris replaced the cables and did a safety check on both of my garage doors. Then he took the time to fix the problem that I had created (for free).

I decided that I should change that opener, since it was quite old and so Chris returned on another day to complete the installation of a new opener. He also replaced the cables on my second garage door for free while he was there.

Chris was very clear about the cost of the service before he began and I found his rates to be very reasonable. I have installed my own (and family) garage door openers in the past, but I am now more than willing to pay a fair wage for this service.

$110 + tax for cables and safety check/ lubrication
$399 + tax for a ¾ HP belt drive opener with battery backup and exterior keypad. (plus cables changed on the second garage doors)

I was very happy with his work and availability. I would recommend his services to friends and family (and you).

By far the best at what he does and honest! I've had the pleasure of having many trades from homestar.com and Chris has surpassed them all with his great customer service. My garage door was struggling going up and down. So I called Chris and he got back to as fast as he could to come by the house and take a look at what the problem could be...within a few seconds he notice one spring was broken and immediately got to work replacing both springs! I was lucky he had the parts in his truck but he was willing to come by the next day after he ordered the parts.
In today's world we are missing fair and honest contractors but with the help of home star and people like Chris we are on the right track!

I called Chris on short notice after having a hard time getting ahold of my usual garage door Installer (I work as a renovation contractor).

Even though Chris was fully booked for the coming weeks, he managed to squeeze my job in after I explained that I was on a tight timeline and had overlooked the work required in the garage.

Chris was amazing. Very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. I had someone change the spring above the garage door before calling Easy Access, and the previous guy didn't do a good job. So I found Easy Access Garage Doors on homestars and I wish I called them the first time around! Chris did adjustments to eliminate the gap at the bottom of the garage door and fixed whatever the first guy didn't do. And Easy Access does not rip you off.
