Clearview Home & Property Inspections

My wife and I wanted to get a home inspection done on our property as we did not get one done when we first bought. We called Tom at ClearView based on the many positive comments posted on Homestars. He definitely lived up to an exceeded his reputation! Tom arranged to inspect our home on a Tuesday afternoon and showed up early and despite a busy day, full of energy and enthusiasm. His inspection was thorough throughout our home. He patiently checked the roof, the exterior brickwork, the basement, the first floor and the second floor. He took time to explain what he was looking at in terms we could understand. He explained what we needed to do as homeowners to improve each deficiency. Later on, he used an infrared camera to check for moisture in walls, under floors, or even leaks in our air conditioning vents. He submitted his online written report and it was detailed and not only explained each deficiency with a diagram, but also included the estimated cost of repair. Overall, dealing with Tom was an pleasant experience- he showed genuine interest in making sure we understood the issues with our home and how to fix them. It was a real education! I would definitely recommend Tom for anyone looking at a professional and detailed home inspection.
