One of my colleagues referred Manjur Ahmed for home inspection while I was looking for a home inspector before finalizing the purchase of my new home.. I spoke with Manjur and quickly realized that he is a knowledgeable, professional and friendly person who can help me achieving my goal.
On the inspection date Manjur showed up at right time with all his inspection tools including the infra red camera (for which he doesn't charge any additional cost). He started inspecting the house and explained to me the status of each and every item he inspected and suggested some items that needed to be replaced immediately and gave me an idea about the rough estimate for the replacement cost.. He checked the energy efficiency of the most of the items and explained how the replacements will save energy and money.. With his infrared camera he was able to track the extent of crack in the foundation and mould growth in the plywood under the roof sheathing.
I found Manjur as a hardworking, and detail oriented professional who has sound knowledge about the building code and who is able to suggest cost effective ways of replacement of items that need to be repaired or replaced. His rates are reasonable compared to other home inspectors.
I would recommend Manjur as home inspector for those who have been looking for an inspector for inspecting their houses for selling or buying.
