When we contacted Rob, my husband and I were at our wits end with our basement. The people that owned the home prior to us had wallpapered alot of the house. When I started to remove the wallpaper downstairs not only did I find two layers, but it had been wallpapered on unfinished walls. It was such a disaster that the only way to achieve the look we wanted was to gut the entire area. That's where Rob came in. When Rob gave us his quote, it was layed out in great detail with exactly what we had asked him to do...right down to listing the materials. His price was fair and his quote very professional. He sent in his crew and they removed all the drywall ceiling and walls in the family room and hallway right down to the 2x4's. By the end of the day the stucco ceiling and drywall was gone. They diligently covered all the carpeting with plastic and got rid of all the garbage. After almost a week, I must say the transformation was incredible. The was a few tweaks here and there but Rob made sure that they were taken care of and followed up to make sure we were happy. Its unfortunate that my husband and I never took before pictures because it would really show the beauty of the area now versus what it was. Rob has top quality guys working for him and his own workmanship is excellent, along with his care of each clients satifaction. He was fun to deal with and easy to get along with. If we had any concern or question or even a change in plan, he took care of it. He takes pride in his work and makes sure that its done to the customers satisfaction. Great guy!! Rob was a great find - his quote was very competitive and he was nothing but professional from start to finish. We had water damage to our ceiling and needed it repaired/replaced, which included removal of some electrical. Throughout the process Rob was easy to talk to and made himself available over the busy holiday time. He was was very responsive to any questions or communication we had. Rob and his crew are very clean (which can be tricky for drywall work) and punctual. Early starts and late nights seems to be the norm for this crew! Rob even helped us with an unrelated 'fix it' problem that we unexpectedly ran into while he was doing the work. I would recommend Rob and his crew - he works hard and does great work. We had a tricky reno on an 1890 Victorian duplex. Walls and floor slanted everywhere, fire separations requiring boxing about 20 pot lights, building fire chases and more. Rob's crew did a great job with it all. Taping was especially impressive.

With budget constraints but still wanted to start my basement project, decided the best approach was to have it done in stages so when I contacted Rob I was not only impressed with his demeanour and design ideas but his willingness to work around my schedule to help meet my goal. Rob and his team was always friendly, professional and accommodating to minor changes. With such quality work and service, I would not hesitate to bring Rob back again.

We live in a 100 year old house so it's not always easy to renovate. Two rooms upstairs (bathroom and a bedroom) were never insulated. One wall in each room is exposed to the outside of the house creating cold temperatures in winter and hot temperatures in each room in the summer. I contacted Rob at Rob's Reno's Inc. and he arranged a convenient time to give me a quote. Rob brought a crew into our house within the week. Within a few days they had completed the demo of the two walls, build a new frame, embedded the insulation, and installed new drywall. In less than a week the taping and sanding was completed. All garbage taken away and his cleaner vacuumed the working area. Rob was always responsive when I tried to contact him with questions, day or night. His crew were very professional, organized and pleasant when approached. I am very please with the decision to hire Rob's Reno's and am planning to use his crew again in the near future for some additional work.

We are renovating our 90-year-old home and needed a contractor to drywall 90% of the home which had just been re-framed and skim coat the plaster partition wall.

After getting several quotes, we chose to work with Rob because he was the most detailed in providing his estimate. He pointed out many things that other contractors skimmed over, which we felt could have resulted in an inaccurate and low-ball estimate. Rob's quote was higher than the other contractors, but he was very fair and we feel it was money extremely well spent.

Another great thing about working with Rob was how accessible he was and the professionalism and promptness of his correspondence. When working on a project with tight deadlines, it makes a world of difference to have a contractor who will communicate with you in a timely manner.

I also want to point out that Rob conducts business with the utmost integrity. His team were highly-skilled, but in a few minor instances they missed certain things (ie. drywalled over the air supply and outlet without cutting holes, etc.) - the only reason this isn't a perfect 10 review. We mentioned it to Rob who responded quickly, immediately owned up to the mistakes of his team, and had the mistakes corrected ASAP and we were thoroughly impressed. In our opinion these things happen, but the speed with which Rob made things right is what really left us with a great impression!

Also, despite the little hiccups - and it being a long weekend - Rob's team were able to complete the work on time and on budget!

Rob was punctual, easy to get a hold of and did a great job on our home. He demo'd and relocated a closet in our front hall to create an open concept upon entering our house, and also demo'd our ceiling and re-drywalled it to get rid of an awful stucco job and many imperfections. He fixed anything we were not 100% satisfied with without any complaints or arguments. He was very friendly and helpful throughout the renovations. We would definitely use him again!
