Peter and Robert are exactly the kind of contractors we need more of. When you call, Peter himself answers the phone, not some clueless booking clerk, which is what you get with the more "corporate" junk removal services. Peter and Robert arrived the following day right on time and disposed of an incredible variety of debris, including a mountain of construction debris, steel beams, and typical household stuff. My last experience with the name-brand service was frustrating, expensive, and dishonest. There was NONE of this nonsense with Peter and Robert. Junk will always accumulate, and I will always use Friendly Garbage Removal.

Don't waste your time with big name companies!! These guys provide amazing service at the most affordable prices in Toronto (and trust me, I must have called hundreds of companies for quotes!). They were so nice, accommodating and friendly, and went above and beyond what we asked for or expected at no extra cost to us. Plus they seemed very genuine and trustworthy, and I trusted them around the house.

Dealing with Peter was true to his website. Picked up the phone directly, discussed his pricing, and scheduled pick up appointment later that week convenient to our schedule. Peter and his crew showed up on time despite pretty heavy traffic that afternoon. Quote was very reasonable, and he worked with me on figuring out how best to clear the items (we had a few items that we hadn't decided on removing yet). Fast and friendly service. Would recommend and use again.

He is a great guy and extremely knowledgeable of real estate and gave some good tips on how to make the house more presentable. Finally, he dealt with a very touchy neighbour from hell and in politically smart way to appease the neighbour since he needed to put the truck on a shared right of way.
