Nord Ost Railings

After having our hardwood floors installed, the last task was to install the transition strips between the hardwood floors and the ceramic tiles. The tiles were not level across the entrance way and in some areas there was at least ¼ inch difference within a small area. We needed about 18 feet of specially made transition strips. We searched through many reviews on Homestars to find someone that would be able to do this for us. After much searching and reading reviews we found Max from Nord-Ost.
After calling Max, he came over and gave us an estimate. He called when he said he would, and he showed up to do the work as promised. He is extremely reliable, friendly, polite, and the quote was very reasonable. He is a perfectionist and made our transition pieces on his table saw. He stained them to match the hardwood and had them fit perfectly between the flooring, tiles and the baseboards. This guy is very talented and professional.
We are very happy with the quality and work done with the transitions. They look beautiful and it’s all thanks to Max.
