We had Suncoast Enclosures put a large deck cover with two doors on our deck. We put in a new floor to prepare for what was going to be a very worthwhile, life-changing addition that would allow us to enjoy our acreage and the beauty of the outdoors while staying out of the wind and weather. Very soon after the install, there was a rain. The rain came in under the walls. It leaks through the top in numerous places. The attachment to the existing house/eaves was not done correctly and the water just runs in. This will eventually ruin the new floor that was installed, and decreases our ability to enjoy the deck as we are forever wiping up water after a rain. During the first summer Suncoast came 2 or 3 times to look at the problem, and gooped gobs of black/brown caulking (sooo unattractive). That was their solution. We call and text relentlessly and they will not respond or fix the problem, yet they wanted payment. Believing that they would come back to fix it, and because they seemed like such nice guys when you talk to them, we paid more of our holdback. What suckers we were. We went to Edmonton to see them, they said everything we wanted to hear - nothing ever came of it. We finally went back to the home show where we found them in Grande Prairie, to try to get their attention and hopefully they would fix the problem. A couple of guys did come out. He said that he would do whatever it took to make it right, because he agreed it was a mess (his words). We have not seen or heard from them since that day 2 months ago. So sorry that we didn't show locally for this product. Service would have been better and we likely would have an excellent relationship with a different company by now, instead of wasting our time getting frustrated trying to reach Suncoast that obviously doesn't give a crap about us now that they have their money.
