This was going to be a five star glowing review, but after the installation, customer service took a cliff dive. We chose Granite Plus because Maria was friendly, knowledgeable, and showed us quality slabs of granite to choose from. They were prompt with their measurements and installation and the installation crew did a great job; the seams were perfect, the backsplash was perfect. We looked at the installed pieces and everything looked fine, although the crew seemed a bit nervous about something. I drove right over and paid them their cash for the balance of the bill.
Later that night, under different lighting, I noticed the major flaw against the seam: A big splotchy flaw that abruptly ends at the seam. Why would they pick that piece of granite to go there, where it is noticeable? None of the pieces we looked at in the warehouse had that.
On August 24th, 2017, a day after the installation, I began calling the owner and the account manager. No answer, so I left several messages. No one has called me back to this date (September 6) so here is my review. The one star at this company is Maria. That is for her. Minus four stars for their customer service and granite quality. All I wanted was suggestions for how to easily cover the flaw, maybe install something on the counter, but they were assuming the worst I guess. Now they will never have their great review.
This is from their website, but as you can see from the picture, not true. “... is highly respected in the granite industry for creating some of the most brilliant granite and natural stone countertops ...” NOPE! All he is creating is many nights of lost sleep and a little bit of crying on my part.
