Terry Thiessen of Terry Custom Homes did a amazing jog getting out basement finished in 2013. He was on budget and completed the job on time. Terry and the tradesmen he uses did a amazing job. Everyone was very easy to talk too. I highly recommend Terry as he is reliable, trustworthy and takes pride in his work. Thank you Terry for the great job you did.

I am happy to highly recommend Terry Thiessen of Terry Custom Homes if you want a "top quality at a reasonable cost" home, built by an honest and very conscientious builder. Terry came highly recommended when we sought a builder for our first custom home in Chilliwack, and he created 4400 sq feet of practical yet beautiful family living space. Terry had many helpful, original solutions to create a wonderful 4 by 6 construction home; he was totally trustworthy, always found excellent subcontractors, and got each phase done with his personal oversight according to his high standards. Terry never cut corners and very rarely didn't complete a phase on time and on budget. He knows bylaws, the first home was R2000 and he offers green alternatives but listens carefully to owners requests and is always conscious of budget without reducing quality.
Terry was available for follow up for years after the house was completed. We were so thrilled with his quality of workmanship that we asked Terry to oversee the building of a second, larger custom home 14 years later! It is a masterpiece of quality workmanship and there was no request or problem that Terry wasn't able to cope with. We cannot recommend Terry Custom Homes enough- you will not be disappointed!

Terry was referred by a friend. He came to do some minor work at the farm, and I told him my South-facing deck was just too hot to use in the summer. It has a beautiful unobstructed view of Mount Cheam but the deck is just too hot to use, and umbrellas are wasted in Agassiz Winds. I wanted a permanent sturdy structure that would also accommodate my hammock, in case I had any time for relaxation. We also had to account for the angle and height of the sun at this latitude on the longest summer day.
He drew up plans which I approved, and with an assistant carpenter and a LOT of lumber, built my arbor in one very long day. Clean up was excellent. I called Terry several times to tell him just how much I appreciate my structure. It's perfect. My mother loves it when she comes to visit, and we can spend the hot days of summer outside where we should be. No umbrellas, and Bar B Ques are a treat. This has been worth every penny spent.
