Canada's Restoration Services

We recently had mice running thorugh our attic and when we went to capture the culprit we discovered some mold. Thankfully we discovered in in time. It started from above our bathroom. There was a small leak that allowed for moisture to get into the attic. We called a few companies and had decided to use Canada's Restoration Services. We were very please with the consultant who reviewed our issue. HE was very thorough and in a week they completed the job very professionally. It doesn't even look like they were in our house. IF your looking for a company that will take the time to do the job done right the first time. Give them a call!

I call this company for asbestos removal, and next day the project manager (Aris) shows up we talk about the job because I have beams on my ceiling and I want to saved them ,he told me not to worry is guys are professionals to remove carefully the beams ,on the day they start remove they start with crowbar and broked in to pieces.if you wired this company for demolition is good but if you need to save something from there (THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL)
For final payment they put what they want the invoice did match with the estimate
there is some pictures from the job and estimate to show you guys this not a joke
I told them about the work and the price is not what been told and they said if I read the contract from them....................

I was noticed a discoloration on the roof in my bathroom right above the shower. I left it be for a while as i wasn't sure what it initially was. A friend referred me to homestars where i first found out about Canada's Restoration Services. I gave them a call and their customer service was fantastic. I was giving the first appointment they had and their inspectors come out quickly. They noticed that beside the mold growing in the bathroom all of our bathroom vents were venting into our attic instead of outside. They coordinated with a handyman to ensure the vents are venting outside. Overall it was a great experience as most of the work was handled by them and on a timely manner. They kept me updated on what was going on and never was i in the dark. I recommend this company to anyone!

A long story but the short version: I purchased a kitchen and installation from a large US/Canadian store in 2012. Unknown to me was that when they installed the kitchen they screwed the uppers and lowers into a sewage plumbing stack behind the kitchen wall.

Fast forward to Oct. 2015 after many illnesses for my family, we started to notice some moisture and staining at the bottom of the basement stairs in the carpet. Called in the plumbing services from Enercare and after lots of investigation and finding mold they determined what had happened above.

I started looking immediately for a remediation company on homestars. CRS was the only one that returned my call - thank you Aris. The other top rated ones on homestars did not return a single call. What was great was that CRS recommended a mold inspector to come and find out what we were dealing with ( 360 inspection services - see my review for them). CRS (Aris) and 360 Inspections (Tyler) came together to inspect and agree upon the remediation needed.

CSR took direction from the mold inspector after he had all the lab results back. The levels of toxic mold in the entire home were terrible and we were told to leave the home until the work and testing was done (we already had left given what was revealed).

CSR took direction from the mold inspector which I really appreciated. They included extra work based on the mold inspectors recommendation and did not charge me over the original estimate. The remediation work was top notch and they even discovered more screws in the sewage plumbing stack once they removed that part of the kitchen. They did save the kitchen doors and granite which will save money in the long run.

When we moved into our new house we were informed that there was asbestos on the ceiling pipes in the basement. I contacted a few companies from Home Stars, but went with Canada's Restoration Services because they were very detailed when explaining their processes to me and they had a competitive price. The work took about half a day. We were very pleased with the final product. All of the pipes were stripped clean of asbestos and the floors were left clean. Thank you, it's nice to know that is out of our house!

We have had mold problem in our home attic and were having difficulty selling our house. We have searched the web, easily found Canada's Restoration Services website, reviewed their great reviews and contacted them immediately. Customer service was pleasant, professional and fast!!! After receiving a quote from an export who visited our house next day, Canada's Restoration Services sent out 2 really nice employees to take care of the problem. The process took few short hours and they were clean quite and very polite. We are very happy now and expecting to sell our house soon!!! I discovered what I thought could be a serious mold issue in back bedrooms of my home. The hatch door to my attic was covered in mold, and cIondensation. I had already wiped down the walls in the bedroom that had mold. As I always do now, I check Homestars for any work I need to contract out, as I've had nothing but good experiences with the contractors I've used. Aristides, from Cda Restoration, came out assessed the situation, and much to my surprise the immediate fix was to replace the attic door, add insulation in the attic, and install some fans in both bedrooms. The issue causing the mold was condensation, and the attic door was not sufficient to seal out airflow between bedroom and attic. Arisitede's said the mold situation should resolve itself with these few fixes. There was no need for his company to come in and do a mold removal job. He added, if the mold persisted after I have fixed what he recommended then, and only then the next steps would be to tear down bedroom exterior walls, and clean up, put new insulation, and new drywall. What i appreciated was his honesty, and integrity. It would have been too easy for him to tell me we have to come in do the mold removal and tear down work in bedrooms, and i would have been none the wiser whether that was required or not. I feel much better taking these initial steps, and as last resort doing an reconstructive work if required. The mold situation in my instance was exterior mold, and hadn't progressed to serious health levels. A good wall scrubbing with a mold removal product was all that was required. My tenant was complained about mold in the living space she was living in. Upon my investigation, I noticed that this tenant was doing a lot of things that inadvertently caused a surface mold build up.
