Mersey Heating And Air Conditioning

Just had a new furnace/AC installed and it seemed a little noisy. Mersey sent sent their supervisor, John T. (#29), to our house to address the problem. It was a simple matter of adjusting down the air flow. John also spent considerable time with us helping to program the thermostat and setting it up to communicate with our iPhone. John was without question the most helpful, pleasant and most importantly technician that we have ever dealt with. we cannot say enough good things about Mersey and their people.

John T, #29 provided service for our air conditioning and furnace units that were in our attic. He was polite, a good communicator and did a great job. He replaced filters in each unit and found a gas leak which he repaired. He left the bedroom with the access point neat and clean, and provided information that might help us to deal with an odour that develops throughout the day in the home. We have a maintenance contract with the company and have found them to be thorough and efficient. A++

We recently hired Mersey Service Experts to install AC in our home and we were very pleased and impressed with the overall experience and service we received. The Sales Consultant "Bob Fertile" was extremely knowledgeable about the systems they sell and helped guide us in choosing the best option for our home. The technicians, "Bin and others" were experts in their field doing a fabulous job on the install and walked us through the user guide and proper working of the new equipment settings. There was a little equipment hiccup but that was followed by a swift response to our call and all is great with our new appliance. We will gladly recommend Mersey to others. MC

At first I was very impressed with this company. They did a far better job at visiting my home, taking time to explain the ins and outs of the various solutions, and were great throughout the sales process. The unit was installed as promised and switched on.

Unfortunately, the unit is louder than it is supposed to be. I was told by the installer that it was irregular, and that he would put in a service call to have it looked at, to install a piece that I had paid for, and to swap out a breaker on my electrical panel. He told me to expect a call to set up an appointment.

The next call I received (mid morning the following day) was from a service guy on the way to my house. Like most people, I work a job and I had taken the day off to oversee the installers. I had to explain that I couldn't meet him, and he said he'd sort out the mess and someone would call me right back. No one contacted me again until I reached out to them to complain several days later. Now, instead of being able to accommodate another visit on a pre-scheduled vacation day, I have to take another morning off for them to come back and troubleshoot the issue. Even on the call to set up the appointment, they weren't even aware that the machine was making noise and that it needed a part that I paid for and wasn't included.

Suffice to say, my initial impression has changed for the negative over time. I'm hoping that regular service calls will be easier to manage but I won't hold my breath. That being said, I will be happy to post a new review when my annual maintenance happens, if it goes well. There are inevitably hiccups with any company and I'm disappointed to find that this one isn't living up to its reputation.

George was very thorough identifying the cause of the problem and extremely helpful with all my questions.
He was one of the nicest service men I dealt with so far. Very professional and very polite. I hope George gets sent back next time I require service

Cory, at Mersey came by for our scheduled maintenance service. He checked the furnace output, moisture levels. He vacuumed the dusty areas and made sure to close the unit back up. He then went outside to the A/C unit and checked the battery and cleaned the dust off the casing of the unit and inside the unit. He sprayed it with the hose and confirmed the compressor was good. He shook my hand and told me to call if I ever needed help. Great service, great guy.
