My father hired this company for our office renovation, and Mark has taken our deposit and disappeared. He's been sent multiple emails, contacted by phone and text, to no avail. Ghosting is apparently not just relegated to the dating world. A warning to any potential homeowners, do not hire this company for anything.

Mark, it’s interesting that you have yet to return a single phone call, email, or text message, but were willing to comment in this forum. Had you simply taken the time to answer my father, I would never have made this comment here and this situation could have been resolved. Oh, I probably should mention that you actually did take the time to call my father, only after I posted this comment. Another thing that was interesting was the threatening tone you took when speaking to my father in that call, with regards to me specifically. I shouldn’t be surprised, as based on the reviews below, this seems to be the nature in which you choose to handle your dissatisfied clients. And, if the permits were of such great concern to you, why did you accept the job and the deposit? We were working under the directive of an engineer as you were well aware, because that same engineer had concerns regarding the construction of the railing and you were informed and promised you would adhere to his specifications. It was at that point that you asked for even more money on top of your deposit, so clearly you were comfortable enough with the project and the circumstances under which it was undertaken to take our money. And if you were so concerned about the damage next door, you would know that our plumber’s insurance is working with our neighbour’s insurance to ensure the situation is being handled to everyone’s satisfaction. And, since you are so concerned, the work has been inspected and passed. All that remains to be done is the railing, that you took a deposit for, and have yet to complete. For someone so concerned about wrongful accusations, I would have thought you would fact check before making one of your own. And as for that assertion of wrongful accusations, can someone truly be wrongly accused this many times sir? Kindly respond to my father via one of the multiple communication channels he has opened to you. Please answer him by end of day tomorrow to either complete the job or return the deposit. Then we can solve this situation once and for all.
