We decided to do a major reno on our main floor, removed walls which were load bearing, new kitchen and floors as well as bathroom floor, we searched for a contractor to help us do this and as our house was over 60 yrs old we were quite anxious and worried as you can imagine. We chose A&R Renovations, after interviewing and alot of searching and we couldnt have been happier with the results. Alex was professional the quality was excellent. There were several trades involved in the overall construction and Alex made sure the work was coordinated so that there were no delays and kept the work flowing so that it was completed in the timeframe he initially gave us. He did a wonderful job and was always willing to answer questions. I highly recommend A&R renovation and would definitely be contacting them again next time we need some work done on my house.

We wanted to modernize our home because it was looking dated. We found Alex and really enjoyed his approach to renovations and the level of experience he shows. I believe he said hes been in the business for over 25 years. Alex did our complete home renovation, including our bedrooms, bathrooms, basement, kitchen, the works. From beginning to end he was on the job site every single day, he ensured every inch of the process had his purview and handiwork. Overall I would 100% work with Alex again.

We hired Alex for our entire basement so that we could rent it out. We had an unfinished basement for years but were worried about horror stories we had heard from our friends about the quality of work out there. Alex came and gave us a free estimate, talked us through everything and let us have as much of an active role in the process as we needed to feel comfortable. The quality of his work is impeccable, but his standards for his own work comes even above that somehow. My husband and I are exceptionally happy with hour basement turned out. He did 4 washrooms plus laundry room for us in December 2022, however we start to concern about his responsible and promises about his work.

We hired Alex from A and R Renovations to complete a substantial renovation in our home which included removing a structural wall to create a new kitchen. He also renovated our ensuite and updated our stairs, the laundry room, powder room and family room with a new media unit, aside from many other updates to our home. A and R Renovations did a great job on redoing our entire basement. We had previous work done with them on 2 other renovations and knew right away that we could trust the quality Alex would do. We had several water issues in the past so we wanted to make sure that everything was done right. We are very happy with the end results as we now have a bright and warm place to enjoy with our family.

A & R Renovations did an awesome job on our upstairs renovations. We got 2 bathrooms as well as turned our open den area into a 4 th bedroom. We are pleased with the results Alex and his team did.

A & R renovations was a pleasure to have work on our home. From the beginning everything was clear and when changes needed to be made from the proposed plan we were informed immediately to decide on what steps we wanted to take. Even during the pandemic, Alex did his best to ensure things were moving and getting done as quickly as possible. He and his team cleaned up after each day and always kept his word on what he said he would do. We are already planning our next renovation project with him.
