Despite desperate plunging efforts my ensuite toilet remained plugged.After calling several plumbers, A Marco was the only company who could send someone over today. Roy arrived promptly and assessed the situation and offered two solutions. I decided that replacing the old toilet was most cost effective since it was not only plugged but was leaking from other parts. When Roy turned the old toilet upside down outside he found a small yogurt container jammed firmly in the curved angle. Roy pointed out the damage that leaking had done to the ceiling below the toilet. If he hadn't come so promptly the damage surely would have been more extensive.He checked the first floor toilet and noted leaking from a nut under the tank and replace the leaking part. All work was done courteously and thoroughly. Roy cleaned up all the debris and I am so relieved to have my home back in functional order.
