I engaged Gregg of mold.ca to correct the health hazard represented by significant mold in both mine and my son’s bedrooms.
Not knowing what to expect in terms of invasiveness or follow up clean up…I was extremely pleased at the professionalism, timeliness and mostly the CARE that Gregg and his troops showed in pridefully dealing with this messy job with full containment until the mold was fully eradicated and the bdrms rebuilt.
I couldn’t be happier with the results. Pricing was very fair. Highly recommended in my book.

Greg and his team at MRI-Mold Remediators Inc. were extremely professional and responsive from my initial contact with their company, through to completion of the job. They provided timely and comprehensive service, including an inspection and quote, and got the job done quickly with minimal disruption to my routine. Greg was very accommodating to my schedule, stopping in on weekends to ensure the job got done on time. His team treated my home impeccably, and where other defects were found, they brought this to my attention, and were able to recommend other professionals to help fix those other problems. I would highly recommend Greg and his team, without reservation.

The July super storm left part of my basement wet and moldy. Was a bit reluctant to hire professional for removal due to cost but attempts to removal them by myself turned out to be not so successful.

Greg was great in assessing the situation and provided a reasonable action plan. His crew was extremely attentive in keeping my place nice and clean during the project. At the end of the day, all affected dry walls were removed and mold eradicated with antimicrobial fog.

I am very satisfied with their fastidious work. Greg was great to work with and responsive with all our communications.

Hopefully I will never have mold problem again. But if I do, I know who to contact.

I spoke to several mold remediation companies before selecting mri-mold.ca. I spoke to Indira who indicated that they charged for an assessment. The proposed charge was nominal but she made it clear that it would be applied to any and all work mri-mold.ca would perform. This resonated with me. Greg arrive punctually the day of the appointment and looked at the cold cellar. He indicated that it was a level 1 and accordingly something I could do much cheaper by myself. He wrote down a list of the products I would need, where I could buy them and provided instructions on how to apply the products. We also went upstairs to try and identify the source and he found two areas which are likely the reasons for the moisture and provided suggestions on how to do so economically since I didn't want to spend a lot of money.

I would highly recommend and will use them when I buy my next house to assist with the home inspection.

Gregg and his team were the most professional, hard working, and honest people I have had the pleasure of working with. The level of trust and communication was beyond anything I could have expected. Not only was the work completed thoroughly but the clean-up was immaculate. They completed a lot of work within a short period. They can in a day and a half but they work so hard to get everything done so that I wasn't inconvenienced. Gregg also recommended trusted contractors from his network that I engaged for reconstruction who ended up being as honest and trustworthy as himself. You will be hard-pressed to find a better crew to help with your mold remediation.

I just wanted say thank you to the members of mold.ca! From my initial call back from Indira, the consultation and estimate from Gregg, to the actual day of mold removal from my basement and bedroom, all turned out to be a satisfying experience that met with my expectations. During a very stressful times after the Toronto 2013 floods, it was great to receive such empathy and patience. You took the time to provide me with detailed explanations of the processes and costs. This made me feel comfortable and knowledgeable,and I appreciate the respect given to myself, and my home during this process. The prompt professional service you provided was top notch.

I wanted to write to say how impressed my wife and I were with the work done by mri-mold to remediate the sewer back-up damage done to our home after the big storm in July. Gregg's walk-through and quote made us confident that we were in good hands. There are a lot of guys out there claiming to do water damage and mold remediation, but from what I've heard, they leave behind as big as mess as they start with. Mri-mold does this for a living, not a side-line, and have the certification, tools and expertise to do it right.
The workmen arrived on time, worked late, were polite and courteous with us, and quite indulgent of our curious 6-year-old boy's questions. We had no issues with leaving them working away in our basement when we had to go out for errands.
The route in and out was protected, they sealed the basement, used some kind of dust containment when cutting drywall, bagged everything coming out to prevent any mold or 'soil' transmission and left the basement spotless. The air scrubbers, blowers, dehumidifiers etc they used are not Home Depot rentals but are large industrial strength machines.
When they finished, our basement was clean, almost pleasant, and ready for contractors to come in and build without having to do a lot of prepping and rework.
A couple of neighbours used them as well, and we were all impressed with their integrity and professionalism. I hope we never need them again (!) but we wouldn't hesitate to use or recommend them.

I'd like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you and your team for ridding my boat of mold. As you know it was a boat that we could not sleep on or spend any amount of time on for risk of developing health problems. I was truly impressed with your company from the first time I met you until the job was done. Your team carried themselves in a very professional manner at all times. I had members of my yacht club come up to me to say how hard the guys worked and how impressed they were. Your guys worked tirelessly and were into the nook and crannies of my boat, and as you know, some areas are difficult to access. It's been a few months now and I'm happy to report that I'm still mold free, sleeping on the boat, hanging out on the boat, and enjoying the water.
