Still waiting for our project to be completed. Gave our deposit August 2017 & we are now nearing end of April 2018 and work is still not completed. A 8-10 week estimate has turned into 8 months. We are pretty patient people but customer service has been sub-par, told one thing & always a delay and to top it off when they did finally install some of the windows we have issues. Gaps in exterior caulking, most expensive window we ordered, not plumb and wrong sill size, trim work delayed, garage door track system delayed, delay after delay with no offering of compensation for our inconveniences. Our salesman doesn't even respond back to us anymore & every time we hear from the office its a different person with a different story. We understand that delays can happen but 8 months is a bit ridiculous and now that they have most of our money they don't seem to be in any hurry to address our issues. For our first ever window replacement job, this has been a big disappointment. Hopefully this post will make people think twice about dealing with this company as my experience has been painful. I have had to take 2 extra days off work with more to come to satisfy their mistakes & schedule and no one has offered to compensate me for any of this time. On a final note, I have paid for all my windows that qualify for GreenOn Rebate, submitted before & after pictures that I took myself and I'm being told that Northern Comfort will not submit anything to the government on my behalf until by bill is paid in full. All I have outstanding is my garage door that I've been waiting on for 8 months and has nothing to do with GreenOn Rebate. Well sir, you can pay your bill in full, I was told, then we can submit your paperwork, what a joke.
