My Go 2 Guy Handyman Services

Due to a radiator leak, approximately 10 oak parquet tiles swells and lifted. Some of the tiles split and separated into individual strips.
We removed approximately 2 layers of adhesive from the floor and tile backs, then sanded smooth and fit back in place. The water damage cause all the wood to swell creat8ing gaps in the strips and tiles not fitting into their original places.
This required some trimming of the tiles/strips with planes and sanders to re-install them. The finished look is not as tight and gap -free as the original floor but is no longer an eye-soar.

I hired Ross on the basis of positive reviews I read on Homestars. The reviews were accurate. I was very impressed with Ross and his assistant's customer service orientation. They were friendly, skilled and reliable. I will absolutely use them again for future household repairs.

I initially asked Ross to fix a corner kitchen cupboard door that had come off its hinge. Other handymen asked for pictures of the "project" before deciding if they'd accept the job. Ross just came and fixed the door.

While he was here, I asked how much wallpaper I would need for my small condo kitchen. Ross told me what to order, we agreed he would do the wallpapering, so "no charge" for his time in fixing the cupboard door. I found a wallpaper online, e-mailed Ross asking that he look at the website link to confirm quantity and that it was the right thing for the kitchen, then ordered the paper.

Wallpapering / kitchen caulking / repair of linoleum outside bathroom door done yesterday is excellent! Ross and son Erik are wonderful to work with: Arrive when they say they will, know what they're doing, do it, and clean up after the job is done.

Not being "handy" around the house myself, I appreciate honest advice freely given, and a workman's time to do a job I can't do myself. Rate for labour is a senior's dream. One more visit is needed to finish kitchen caulking. Payment not required until the work is completed, so I know the small bit of follow-up will be done, too.

Reliable, pleasant, reasonable rates (discount for seniors). They get the job done, and don't need to see pictures beforehand! What more can anyone ask?

Fabulous, efficient, reliable, a job well done and faster than expected. Ross and Erik are a great team. They arrived on time which is key. They saved me $200 by fixing a fixture I was going yo replace! They installed a toilet in less time than expected. Then took the initiative to finish other things while I had stepped out. We found My Go 2 Guy on the internet and gave him a call. We had several odd jobs to be done around the house such as installing some hooks and repairing walls. The main thing we required was him to reinforce our swing set in the back yard. He did a great job, he found a solution to make it look good and certainly more stable. We are happy with his work.

I called Ross after seeing reviews on Homestars. He responded quickly and gave us a quote. He was excellent, a good quality worker. He did a variety of things such as fix doors, patch holes, etc. Nothing major but work that needed attention. It was good workmanship. I have referred him to others already.

He has worked on our deck, done some light plumbing and just some general repairs around the house. He is always on time, careful with what he does, always professional and he is reasonably priced. The past owner had started to convert a carport to a shed and Ross finished the job for us. He was quite helpful in pointing out additional problems and offered solutions on how to fix. We would definitely use his services and refer him to others.

We originally heard about Ross from a work colleague. We required several jobs to be done over the years such as, closet installation ( purchased unit), adjusting doors, vanity mirrors, bathroom items like towel bars, tp holder, etc. He even took on a very difficult job of installing some shower doors. This turned out to be very difficult but he was able to finish it for us. He does really good work. He is easy to talk to, we enjoy working with him.
