After a couple of damaging windstorms and lots of sun damage, our original "25 yr warranty" asphalt roof needed replacement in it's 17th year. I actually attended the Ottawa Home Show at the EY Center this spring, and got literature from several installers. After a bit or research and a few quotes, it was down to a couple of installers, and we ultimately decided on Joel Daniels Eavestrough Inc. from Honey Gables in Riverside South . They have been doing the majority of roofing in our Riverside South community, and the decision really came down to word of mouth from the homeowners here that we ultimately based our decision on. It only took 6 weeks from date of deposit to completion of the job. Roofing materials were delivered and a few days later a full crew of 6-7 guys were here a total of 3 working days. Although the weekend in between was warm and sunny, it was nice that they also had the weekend off, which gave us time to relax outside and do housework over the weekend. The crew was here about 7:20 each day, and the perimeter of the house was very clean every evening. Aside from a couple of stray nails that they missed, no other debris or material was left behind. The roof looks great. The experience was better than expected, the price was very competitive, and Dan and the crew were very professional. I have the feeling too, that if any follow-up was required, Joel Daniel's would be back to deal with it. Honest, competitively priced, GAF quality products, timely, clean. What more can you ask for? Yes, I am satisfied, and would recommend this company.
