The Garage Door Depot

This company is very poor on service. I bought my garage door through them a couple of years back and have required use of their services twice. I will spare the details on the first experience but this last experience is appalling. I need a garage panel door replaced. I phoned and provided measurements as they have my contract on file. it's been over a week and I have yet to receive a quote for the job. This is also after several follow ups inquiring on status with none of my calls returned. Two conversations with the girl in service and promises of sending a quote with nothing materializing.

I recommend you search for a company that cares more about customer relationship than taking your money.

I decided to give this company a second chance because the owner personally responded to my review and requested an opportunity to make my experience right. It's been 5-days two emails to their mailbox and no response.

My conclusion:
The behaviour of not being accountable to their customers is prevalent from the leadership down.

I highly recommend this company. Greg Darby listens to his clients. He answered the call on the same day. He accepts to repair the equipment instead of pushing new one. He works well and asks a fair price.

Loved working with the Garage Door Depot here in Saskatoon. I own a retail store here in Saskatoon that need a new interior sliding grill door badly. I shopped around and got a few quotes and the Garage Door Depot came in with the best quote and the best service. We love our new door! One of my employees even hugged it since it is so light weight and easy to use. The best part is their took away our old door and I never have to see it again!

Greg the owner installed two garage door openers (Liftmaster) for our new home. Greg has excellent customer service and is a trusted professional. We later found out that one of the units had a manufacturer defect, so Greg ordered and installed a new one for us within a reasonable time frame. We would definitely use The Garage Door Depot again if needed.

I needed a part to fix my garage door, and it was difficult to find it around competetive stores. Garage Door Depot was helpful in finding us the part, delivery and service. He went above and beyond to help me fix my project. Highly recommend this business for anyone that needs a good, reasonable price and great service.

Greg exemplified customer service. He came twice to fix a door that of course ended up working the first time here was here - and stopped working the next day. Tried to walk me through on the phone first before we came to the realization it was a faulty sensor. Out quickly to fix things up right. Can't recommend his service enough!!

If you are looking for someone you can trust , is very professional , will get you what you need and will give you all of his undivided attention , then Greg is your man. The BIG stores cannot compare .Believe me , I did my research.You get a better , stronger door with Greg at a lower price , and you wont wait 4 weeks or more. (like home depot ect..) As soon as the cold hit, my garage door and opener were not functioning properly. I called Greg and he came over next evening in -20 weather.
He adjusted quite a few things, and took his time making sure everything was properly functioning again.
Appreciate Greg fitting me into his busy schedule on short notice!
