On 2 floors; 2 kitchens, 3 bathrooms, walls moved

We had Corefront do quite extensive renovations in the spring/summer.  Two kitchens, three bathrooms including moving walls. Flooring on two levels including tile, carpet and hardwood, doors replaced and windows put in.  We lived in the house the whole time - us, four children and a new golden doodle puppy!

We chose them because we just plain old liked them and their prices were in-line.  They gave us such a good idea of how things would look and put a lot of work and effort even before we gave them the work.  Their interior designer gave us some great ideas and politely guided us away from some of our dumber ones.  We also liked the fact that their choices were extensive, but not overwhelming - a real bonus for me as I have a hard time making decisions.

What didn't go well....hmm renovations are intrusive and painful but you simply have to go in expecting that! -There were occasionally times when workers wouldn't show up when expected, but the project manager was so good at getting back to us, or getting the ball rolling.  We had some appliances delivered damaged but that was corrected and we had a delay in our Kitchen cabinets. We had a leaky toilet seal a couple of months after the renovations were done, but this was fixed immediately - and very well too.  I think it was one of their contract companies that did that. Their workers were very polite and left things as tidy as possible. I think that was it - really not bad for such an extensive reno.  We both feel that the work was definitely worth the money and we will use them again next year for some outside work that we need done.

Full Home Renovation

We purchased a vintage 1950's bungalow in the SW and hired Corefront to transform our very dated house into something modern and beautiful . The scope of work involved completely redesigning the the basement and main floor. Corefront stripped the house right down to the studs, which included adding engineered trusses to allow us the freedom to totally reconfigure the our floor plan which included an open concept kitchen/living area, removing a bedroom and creating a large master ensuite that includes a double shower, and large walk in closet. The basement was also completely reconfigured by moving the utility area from the middle of the basement to one side to facilitate a more open usable space in which we added a bar, games, room and TV area. All electrical, pluming, insolation and drywall were replaced. With the exception of the exterior walls, we essentially have a new house built to current code.

This was a large Reno requiring significant planning and execution by Corefront. I was very impressed not only by the service and professionalism displayed by Corefront and their trades, but also very impressed by their process and how they prioritized pre-construction planning. Corefront appeared to have excellent long standing relationships with all trades and suppliers involved in our project. I believe along with the extensive planning and design directed by Corefront that the trade and supplier relationships were crucial to the smooth execution of our project.

We are thrilled with the end result of our project and the service provided. I would highly recommend Corefront to anyone looking to renovate!!

Home reno

Do not hire! They are rookies with no industry contacts. They have a store front with no infrastructure behind them. Delay, delay, delay....and relied on their interior designer to line up industry ppl! Be wary!

Kitchen & Bathroom

Dear Corefront;
After living with our new bathroom & kitchen/dining area for 6 months now, I felt compelled to write you & offer you a testimonial.
When we first started seriously thinking about having our kitchen & bathroom totally made over, I was determined to do my due diligence. Consequently, after reviewing dozens of web sites & viewing a number
of show homes & renovator’s showrooms, I decided on eight reno companies to come and talk with me & give
me estimates. Of those, I automaticly cut out the highest & the lowest bids, and chose Corefront from the rest.
It was actually an easy choice, given both your exhibited quality, presentation, & attitude. I cut the most expensive company because of their attitude, not because of their price.
Laurel & I truly appreciated, not only your professionalism & the quality of your trades, but how accommodating, respectful, & friendly everyone was, especially given that we had to live in the house during the entire project. Notably, we appreciated your receptiveness to all of our “special” requests, one of which we’ve never seen in any other home, old or new. I know our vision of our new kitchen & bathroom could not have been accomplished any better. There were even terrific finishing touches that we had not even previously thought of. Now, having had the chance to “live” with it, we are exceptionally pleased with the way everything turned out. Both bathroom & kitchen are not only totally modernized, but much more functional. We actually gained almost 3 feet of extra room in the bathroom & now the kitchen is opened up to the dining room, making for better flow through traffic & conversation. Unlike all the new show homes we visited, our kitchen has much more room for more than one person to work in it at the same time.
We would not hesitate to recommend Corefront to any of your potential customers, without reservation!
Jim & Laurel D.
