Rastio from Reliance was a super technician today. He was on time during the appointment window, and called before to lmk he was on the way. The company actually sent me a computerized automated message saying that "the technician is on the way" but he called before that message even came. What originally I thought was a simple job turned out to be anything but, and originally Rastio thought how I wanted the sensors to be hooked up couldn't be done. But he made it happen, and even though he even thought it wouldn't look nice he made it look pretty sleek. He paid attention to fine detail so it's obvious he is good at what he does. He kept making sure that the sensors were secure and didn't stop until it was to his satisfaction. In addition, he helped sort out the many "zones" that we had in the house (a mess left over from the previous owner who hooked it up himself), even though the company only scheduled him only 30 minutes for this job. He stayed over 2 hours sorting everything out so I wouldn't have to have a second service call, even though his schedule was pushed waaaay back. He was very polite and used booties, which I really appreciated. (Side note: He looks like Ben Affleck! :) ) Even though this job ended up costing more than I had estimated (the company didn't tell me over the phone to expect a labor charge, just materials), I'm glad it was done and it was done properly. I'm only asking for Rastio the next time my alarm needs any servicing.
