His suggestions and advice helped me and my wife finalize our plans on are family room. In addition, his tradesmen are efficient, skilled and very polite, they treat your home very well. " Towne Contracting are amazing! Their vision in helping us design, and over all workmanship was great! We had them initially come in and revamp our newly purchased home! From crown molding to door frames window casings it was all done efficiently and thorough. The workers were prompt clean, friendly and had amazing attention to detail. They were respectful of family space, took of their shoes, and really were efficient. They re-did our bathroom floor tiles and shower tiles too. The work done was great we love it! And we get compliments on the tile work all the time. From Andre, Tom, Steve, Dan and Larry! All guys were on the ball, knew the job and worked hard. We found Towne Contracting through searching HomeStars and based on the strong reviews, contacted Steve. Through a combination of knowledge, customer service and price, Steve provided us with what we hoped would be our best option and he didn't disappoint. Despite being a relatively small job (removal of two walls and installation of structural flush beams) in the grand scheme of renovations, Steve treated us like valued clients. He was accessible via phone and email, turned up when he said he would and finished ahead of schedule. Steve and his team were friendly, considerate and professional, completing the job exactly as we'd asked. Towne Contracting was the general contractor for our recent house renovations that included a total removal, remodel and expansion of our kitchen, removal and remodel of the master bedroom ensuite, main bathroom and powder room. In planning and working through the quote for the work, Steve was very open to our ideas and provided some great alternatives for us to think about. Steve dropped by the house on numerous occasions to meet with us, take us through the plans, tell and show us what would be happening. It was very comforting to see and hear about Steve’s ideas and to have a good appreciate of the work involved. He was very patient with us, which relieved some of the pressure one experiences in proceeding with the cost and disruptions that come with a major house renovation. As we received and reviewed the quote with Steve, we were very comfortable proceeding.

As the work began, there was extensive demolition involved. Dan and his team we excellent in sealing off the work areas and working around our schedules (while we lived down stairs) to complete the work in short order – amazing. As we began the new construction, Dan provided daily reports on work completed and planned for the next day. We always knew what was happening and it was great seeing the progress from day to day. As with any renovation, you always run into situations that need to be re-visited, discussion, compromises required, etc. Dan was always there for us – covering the details, talking through options, providing recommendations and in some cases accommodating our changes of mind. Dan was excellent and always put our needs and best interest at the front of everything – providing excellent advice and customer service. He (and his team) were always professional and very patient with us through out the renovations and for that, we thank Steve, Dan and Towne Contracting for a great job, well done! Within a short time of completing the renovation, I have made 2 referrals to Dan and Steve – a testimony to their great work and customer service!

This past fall we hired Towne Contracting to complete our main bathroom renovation. Our concern in the past with any hired contractor was always with customer service. We would call for a quote and it would take weeks for someone to return our call and then through the process they would not keep in touch etc. Towne contracting excels in this regard and they understand the importance of communication being a priority in any renovation. We were also extremely impressed with the cleanliness during the project. On a daily basis Towne contracting cleaned up after themselves and never did we feel that we were undergoing a renovation that impeded our daily life. From the time we met Steve for the initial quote and organization of the project, to Milan as our main contact throughout the renovation we can only say that their advice in the process was always very professional and they took the time to make sure that we were always satisfied with our decisions. Lastly and most important is the workmanship and finishing touches. We are thrilled with the end product, have learned a lot through the process and are currently in the process of renovating our master bathroom with Towne Contracting.

Towne Contracting renovated our kitchen and family room area, doing some structural work to remove walls, as well as doing a complete kitchen reno. They completely transformed our space. The kitchen went from being the most problematic or weakest part of our home to being our favourite space. Everyone involved in the project did excellent work. The contractors were highly skilled, and very considerate. They made a very disruptive renovation much less difficult. The reno started on schedule. When there were delays that were beyond the contractor's control (e.g., the countertops took longer to come in), they were extremely good about keeping us informed and letting us know what to expect. I would have Towne Contracting back to do other renovations in our home. They are extremely busy because they are so good. They are worth the wait.

We hired Towne contracting after our basement sustained some massive damage in the "great flood" of 2013. After receiving quotes from several contractors Steve was recommended through a friend and he came up with the most elegant and fairly priced solutions to all of our requests and concerns. As was previously mentioned on this forum, the guys are just a delight to deal with; highly professional, skilled, precise and very fast. In addition to creating a space which is now the most favorite room in the house, Steve also took care of our cold room and laundry, both of which now look absolutely splendid!
