An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
It was lucky that Ray K from Diamond Aluminum came for my first estimate of
replacing my ice storm damaged and aging eavestrough system. The next two
representatives from other companies considered my semi-detached home
too small a job and my questions too trivial...No one has ever asked me what gauge of
aluminum my products are made from? and from the third one...I use only the
best products but how dare you ask any questions about them? As well, my work-
manship is superior so my quote will reflect that.
Ray explained how best to install the new eavestrough and downspouts to solve
the bad drainage around my home. He was proud of the products he uses and
had bought samples of them. His quote was reasonable and midrange.
I chose Diamond Aluminum for the project and my adjoining neighbor had decided
to have his side done as well. Ray was just glad that we didn't have to cut the
eavestroughs in half.
Installation was done in a day. Michael and Johnny worked nonstop, were pleasant,
and consulted with us on finer details. Ray came by to solve a problem in the
eavestrough alignment and to drop off heavy duty hangers. Our front downspouts
were upgraded to a larger size to better manage heavy rainfall at no extra charge.
Three days later, our new eavestroughs handled 20 cm of heavy snow with flying
colors.
It is rare to find a company who respect their customers (small or large accounts),
be passionate about their projects, and have a strong work ethic. Thank you to
