We were looking for plans to be drawn up for a renovation projection. Alex was very accommodating and helpful. He was flexible with our changing plans and a pleasure to work with. His final drawings were excellent, although we have not yet submitted them through the city. I would highly recommend this company.

Alex and his team are professional architects that helped my fiancée and I to design our first home. Alex was always very quick to answer any questions we had and was willing to track down bylaws relating to our building issues. The day after learning about Alex and his company, he came to our house and gave an estimate for the cost of work. He was courteous and efficient and we were very happy working with him. Whenever we had a question or a change to our plans, he was able to respond to us very quickly. Communicating all of our little details was so easy. I want to thank Alex for all his hard work in putting my napkin vision into professional plans, and for sticking with me through the unexpectedly long permitting process with the City; I feel like I've known Alex for years when it's only been months, and that's just because we've exchanged so many emails!

Getting these renovation plans completed was a real learning experience, and Alex was always patient and agreeable to any changes until the final plan was just the way I wanted. We had interior and exterior renovations on the same plan, then had to divide it into two applications and re-submit to expedite the zoning approval on the interior, while going to Committee on the exterior (which is still pending, so I may be back to change my referral rating, lol). Despite all the extra work that neither of us expected, Alex was very accommodating and reasonable in the additional charges that arose as a necessary consequence from splitting the plans and changes in my design based on City zoning laws - and, most importantly, I never once felt l overpaid.

So, though we had some frustrating times (due to the City, mainly), Alex always came through with prompt attention to my phone calls and emails, and was always willing to adjust draft after draft until I was completely satisfied with the way it all looked. His fees were very fair, and I would recommend him in the future.

I was in need of Building Permit to renovate the kitchen and remove load bearing wall. Alex from Cadaxx Design helped me to understand my needs by providing his expert opinion and explaining the process in "plain English". The permit was delivered on time and my contractor could proceed with the job without a delay.

Make sure you get all on paper, you might get half of the job done. Customer service-none. Told my wife that "she is not important enough to get a call back"

I required a building permit and drawings to enclose a front porch and move existing windows/doors,and inside retaining wall.I called Alex at Cadaxx Design ,he agreed to meet me the next morning at my home, he spent the whole morning with me listening to what I had in mind,(even drinking my terrible coffee without complaining)..He made several suggestion which i hadn’t though of,told me the price for everything and when i agreed measured the whole house.a week later he submitted several drawings,I picked the one I liked most asked for some small changes which he obliged and then submitted and obtained the necessary permits far sooner then i expected.I found Alex to be a very easy and helpful person to deal with and created an excellent design for me.I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone looking for an architect . His prices are fair and reasonable and exactly as he quoted.It was a pleasure to deal with him.

Alex has helped us with architectural drawings for both our deck (September 2012) and our garage (2011/2012). It is always a pleasure to work with him. He is quick and efficient. He listens to your requirements and "vision" and is willing to amend his drawings when you have additional ideas, amendments, wishes or corrections. Alex also assists with obtaining the required permits from the City, which is extremely helpful. We would absolutely recommend hiring Alex.

Cadaxx completed the Permit drawings for interior renovation and underpinning. Their end product was top quality and it was a pleasure working with them. The cost ended up in line with quote and our overall experience exceeded our expectations.
