We hired Falco Landscape Design to redo our front patio and walkway as well as some landscaping. Paul and his team were absolutely great to work with. We hired Paul to design and build our front walkway last year. The work was beautiful, he was highly professional and very trust worthy. Paul guaranteed his work and even came back this year to fix a cracked stone and slight shifting as promised.
Paul went above our expectations to make sure we were happy, communicated daily with us while work was being done and followed up after the job was completed. We hired Falco Landscaping two years ago to landscape the front of our house and to install patio stones around the front steps, the back yard, and the side of our house. Everything looked great (it was an eyesore before). When one of the two evergreens that were planted in the front didn't make it through the first year, I called Paul, and he quickly replaced it with another. Neighbours, BTW, love our lawn.

A very expensive job that initially looked good has, three years later, turned into a failed mess. Grading was improperly done in the first place, and this has led to major ponding problems. In addition, parts of the project have sunken leaving an unattractive, amateurish disaster. Contractor promised to fix the problems ("next year") but never returned to do the job and stopped responding to polite emails. Not Recommended.

Paul and his crew just finished a two day job at my house. They did a patio, garden bed and some river rock at the back, replaced the stairs, did a garden wall, river rock garden and laid some sod in the front.

Paul is a very easy person to deal with, and his crew is amazing. You can tell it's not just a job for them, they are very dedicated and proud of the quality of work they do.

My wife and I gave some insight into what we were looking for, but trusted Paul's judgement and recommendations based on his Home Stars rating and his experience. He made several recommendations that really improved the end result of the job.

Paul came within a couple days of me contacting him for a quote. When they came to do the work, we had changed our minds on a few things, and he was quick to adapt.

They just finished today, and several neighbours have already come by and complimented on how professional the work looked. One even asked for his number so he can could get them to do some work at his house.

Paul is very busy, but still manages to reply very quickly.

He came up with a modern, functional design and helped us pick the right materials. During construction, Paul and his team worked quickly and answered any questions we had. Falco Landscape Design expertly designed and executed our challenging and complex construction job ahead of schedule and in record time! Our sloping walkway and retaining wall is between two closely-spaced houses which leads towards a downward sloping driveway, and needed to be rebuilt and constructed to channel water away. Paul Falco: listened; gave no pressure; understood our need to wait for 2 more quotes (one was 2 times higher, and one was 1/3 lower); prepared a detailed plan with a clear drawing (that included five methods of water drainage in one design); prepared a clear, comprehensive quotation and work plan; provided a generous warranty; waited until the climate was suitable to start work (they started ahead of schedule); brought his own, wonderfully polite and exceptionally skilled and talented crew (i.e. not subcontractors); and did not stop until the job was completed! The whole job was started and completed in less than a week. Paul and his crew kept in good communication with us during the whole process, was sensitive to our needs and accomodations, cleaned up all debris after the job was done, and he followed up to check we were satisfied. Since the job was completed there have been three extreme storms and the water channeling system he designed worked PERFECTLY! Falco has brought us peace of mind and freed us from worrying about excess water flow from severe storms. We will definitely hire him again to do the rest of the walkways and patios in the coming years! (Note: we heard about Falco from Homestars)

I contracted Paul, at Falco Contractors, because of the outstanding reviews the company had received on Home Stars, and I was NOT disappointed! Paul came out to give us a quote on replacing the interlocking brick on our front porch & steps within days of my initial email. He was honest, straightforward, fair and knowledgeable about his product and company. I felt very confident entrusting this job to his crew.
A few weeks later his crew came and within ONE DAY the old brick was gone, the new brick was laid, and the landscaping around the area (river rock and sod) was complete.
Our front porch is now a thing of beauty, to be enjoyed all spring/summer, and something we can be proud of. Paul and his crew are professional, neat, courteous, and FAST!
