I have moved a lot; this move could not have been worse

Extremely unprofessional movers. The driver, Jesse, was just rude after the move was in progress. I politely asked three times for him ask his guys to please be careful on the rugs since it was slightly wet outside and I wanted to keep the carpets clean for the new owners. He ignored the request so I asked the helpers directly and they were fine with it but Jesse got upset and very belligerent for talking directly to his helpers. One of the helpers had completely ragged pants about 5 sizes too large which were dragging along the sidewalk getting sopping wet and then not using the runners they had put down. It was a frustrating experience and definitely not worth saving a slight amount by choosing them. I am worried that this type of individual knows where I live!

Dumb and Dumber Running this Company

The absolute worst service ever!
Hired Two Amigos to move only the larger items from our mid-size home a short distance(we handled all the smaller items and boxes), three guys showed up early which was great. The guys were nice but dumb as rocks, found out that they don't actually work for Two Amigos but they got subcontracted out by them.
These movers did some major damage to the walls in the basement, and I mean somehow took very large chunks out of the wall kind of damage. Was not happy about that but the movers reassured me they would write up a damage claim.
The move took a lot longer than first quoted thus driving our bill up, which we were not super happy about.
Once the move was completed the movers needed to figure out how much to charge us. Watching these guys try to figure out how much to charge us was painful, they couldn’t figure out the hours to the rate, plus a discount for not using credit card (which they never told us about, we ran out to get some cash). Finally my husband (an accountant) stepped in and did the proper math for them.
They wrote up our damage report, giving us no copy of it as proof, so I took a picture of it with my phone. Then here is the kicker, the lead mover said to contact Keith right away with this damage report as they will try to get out of fixing the damage. That was exactly what this guy said.
I contacted Keith right away via email and he got back to me within hours, told me to contact Rick. This was all on a Saturday, it is now Thursday I have contacted Rick four times and only have actually gotten a hold of him once, and he sounded flustered and had to look for my file. I said we needed this damaged fixed asap as we won’t have the house much longer and need to give it over to the new home owners, he said he would call me back and I have not heard a thing from him. My husband has tried to call and has had the same lack of response.
To Sum up my experience, the movers were slow and not careful, I didn't like how they actually were not part of the company, could not add numbers to save their life, warned me about the horrible customer service from Two Amigos, then sure enough the movers are right and I am extremely disappointed with the companies lack of effort to make this issue better.
There are so many moving companies out there you would think they would put some effort into making their customers happy.
DO NOT USE TWO AMIGOS! – If you read any positive reviews about them I’m convinced they paid friends and family to write up good things about them because they are beyond awful

Moving House hold goods

Hi. I hired 2 Amigos moving now known as All Star Movers. First of all they were late. I needed to be out of my house by noon and they showed up at 11 and they rushed to get the job done. Second of all they lost all paper work on the move? apparently it blew out the window? so they say. Third of all when they finally delivered the goods (they had a move inbetween) several of my boxes were missing - guess what kind of stuff My daughters WII console and games. To the tune of $1500. When I called them they are now telling me that I never even used them for the move even though I have 3 people who were there with me and witnessed it. DONT ever use this company, un professional, items were also broken, and things went missing. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Over Seas Move

Me and my family recently moved with a forty foot sea can overseas plus a vehicle using the Two Amigos and company non the less I have moved over 8 times as my job takes me all around the world and by far I found the Two Amigos the most professional and courteous company we have ever used. The crew that looked after our full service pack and load were a wealth of knowledge. I am very glad that we chose The Two Amigos and we would recommend them to anyone. I'm not sure after reading this Walter Taylor's move experiance if he's talking about the same company but seeing his review and his status of a military employee he forgot to mention that he did not pay for his move nor does he pay for packing in fact it's my tax dollars along with everyone else's tax dollars that pay for these military moves. I'm very disappointed that a member such as himself could even think about putting a company down when these movers work long tiresome hours in the summer. Walter you should be ashamed of yourself for writing such a review knowing that if there was any damages you get full replacement of these items at no expense to you. So anyone who reads this the Two Amigos are awesome and I would definately recommend them to everyone.

Moving

As a military member I this was my 7th move and Two Amigos provided by far the WORST service I have ever experienced. The company called and asked if they could do the pack and load on the same day which I agreed to. They were to be at our house at 1000. At 2 PM, two people showed up with no supervisor. One guy was so inexperienced the other guy had to show him how to tape a box shut. A supervisor did show up about an hour later, stayed until supper, and then left without telling anyone. The two unsupervised workers tried to contact their company to arrange another crew for the next day, but couldn't get in touch with anyone after hours. Needless to say, they did not finish on day one. On day two, they arrived at 3:30 PM, realized that everything had been done wrong on day one (no supervisor) and had to redo almost everything. As well, they did not bring enough packing material and had to "borrow" some from another moving company on our street. Day three. They actually showed up at 0900, but still with only two people. There were fragile items stacked in the driveway between the house and the truck that blew over in a wind-gust, large chunks of someones lunch all over the floor on the inside of the truck, and a guy smoking while he packed our boxes in the driveway. They finally finished the one day job at 9 PM on the third day (I should add this was only half our household - 6000 lb -, since we are moving overseas and putting a lot in Long Term Storage). I have not yet seen what our items look like at destination, but I am very afraid. If you have any choice in which company you trust to move you, stay well away from Two Amigos.

Moving

About 6 months ago, I hired this moving company to move me from across the city. They were on time and wrapped and packaged all of my furniture, including couches. I was very impressed! They were speedy, without damaging my property, as well as not scuffing up walls in my home. They were all very friendly and helpful!
