Viking Building Systems

We just purchased a property in Cayuga that didnt have a garage. Driving to a Soccer game one day we saw Viking Building Systems garage. We gave Zig a call and F rom the first time I spoke with him I knew this was the company I wanted for my dream garage. Oh boy did he deliver
He said the Job would take about 4 weeks which I thought was reasonable. To my surprise it was all completed within three weeks. I was very impressed with the personal care and attention to detail that Zig and crew delivered. Pictures attached.
I also asked Zig to keep the construction fence at my house to stay for a few weeks so I could build a wood one to keep my dog in. He was more than happy to accommodate free of charge.
All in all Im more than pleased with my garage and my experience with Viking Building Systems and definitely Zig.. 11/10

Purchased a 24 x 32 building kit from Zig at Viking in the spring of 2022. Zig took care of all the drawings, permits, material ordering/delivery, and inspections in a timely and professional manner. The foundation and post installation happened earlier than expected, a lucky break that gave us the whole summer for the build.
The kit instructions and drawings were clear and Zig was always available to answer any questions as they came up. The majority of the building (frame, trusses, roof panels) went up over a weekend with 5 guys and some long hours.
I hired Zig back to finish the siding after an unexpected surgery stopped me from finishing the building. He did a great job finishing the outside and even found/fixed a few of my mistakes.
I would absolutely recommend the services of this company to anyone looking to build a new garage or shop.

Zig and his crew are Great! Easy going hard working and professional. Zig is very professional and open about all aspects of the process from site visit to building options and permits. Even when I was undecided on what exactly I wanted he was patient and gave me honest opinions and options, and had no problem making the changes. The workmanship from Zig and all of his crew was excellent. I would definitely recommend Viking Buildings if you are looking for a well built post frame building at a fair price.

Firstly I must say Zig is amazing. Very patient and professional. Overall quality and build time was fantastic even with Covid Delays. I recommend then to everyone as I am constantly being asked who built my garage. I changed my ideas like 10 times and Zig did his best to accommodate everything even when it caused him more work. Never a single complaint. Not to mention their pricing was better than most and warranty on building is the best. If you need a garage built, they are the ones to call. Word of advice, plan what you want in advance lol.

Worst company I have ever dealt with! They poured a concrete pad on 2 feet of loose soil and it cost me 14K to fix after they refused to remedy. Did not put in wire mesh either as agreed and only one inch of gravel under pad in spots. Horrible lack of warranty and service. Will have to sue to recover my losses. This has been going on for over four years.

From start to finish, the construction of this project went exceptional smooth. This building team works fast and efficiently. I am thankful we chose Viking Building Systems for this project. Now a days its had to find a reliable contractor or builder. You can't ask for a better company (team) to deal with on project of this size. The finish product was exactly what we had hope to achieve.
