We hired Sobol to replace the remaining old windows and doors in our Victorian semi-detached; 4 double-hung, 2 picture windows, 1 exterior glass door, and 1 exterior aluminum door with integral blind. From the outset they were among the best contractor/services we have hired. We had another major window company provide a quote. In comparison, Sobol (Archiel and Kozue) conducted a thorough assessment of our work, provided a highly detailed quote, and clearly indicated the installation timeframe (they were quite busy). Archiel provided helpful advice about window and door options, and sent several alternative quotes for coloured aluminum exteriors and architectural door handles – which we ultimately selected. The installation crew was also great – they took the necessary time to ensure that the finishes were well done (including virtually rebuilding our deteriorated wood door frames), and the daily clean-up was excellent. There were no extra costs above the original quote. It has been several months since the installation was completed and we are very pleased with the product and quality of the installation.
