Refinishing existing flooring in a new condo.

Unfortunately, while the people are very nice, the quality of work & our overall experience has been terrible. We wanted the existing floors in our new condo refinished (from black to grey). The first workman who came to sand/stain gave us 4 samples, we chose one but when we came to check out the color he'd put a lighter stain on instead of the one we chose (as his wife preferred it?)
But Mike Bernadini told us not to worry, that a darker stain could be added to the final coat. They then sent someone else to finish the floors, adding a stain to the urethane, which resulted that instead of protecting the wood flooring from scratches & marks, the colored urethane now shows every mark & scratch.
Also, every room in the whole condo has 'stop & go' marks & when Mike Bernadini came to see it the day before we moved in, he asked us to delay our move so that he could redo all the floors. But unfortunately this was not an option & while he did offer to redo the floors, they can't be done unless we move out again, so we are now stuck with floors that need to be redone (but can't be).
Added to this, they apparently fired the second person who finished our floors without paying him, and he in turned called our doorman trying to get in touch with us & even showed up at our building looking for us (but thankfully we have good security & he didn't get through). When my husband called him to find out what the problem was, he told my husband that we should demand our $$ back from Rosewood, move out/put our things into storage/check into a hotel & give him 3 days to redo the floors (& pay him with the $$ we got back from Rosewood).
None of this was going to happen (of course).
Bottom line, we spent a fortune to have our floors refinished, but they still need to be refinished (in other words, we've paid for nothing?) plus a disgruntled employee stalking us.
Unfortunately, I would never use this company again nor recommend them.

Approximate cost of services:
$10,000.00
