Extensive spalling of the brick of my 40 year old house chimney had extended to the point where the chimney required removal to the roof-line and then rebuilt. On positive recommendations from family and friends I contacted John McLellan Contracting Inc. to provide a quote to complete this work. John, together with his masonry specialist, Alain, arrived as scheduled to undertook a thorough inspection and to consider options. Shortly after reviewing their assessment and recommendations with me, I received and accepted their fully itemized and priced contract. Alain and Leroy arrived to commence work first thing on the agreed start date. These gentlemen are productive. They work with the grace and ease of dance partners - without saying much each knows just what and when the other needs something. They are craftsmen and practitioners of a work ethic sadly lacking today. They are neat, precise and take pride in their work. They maintain an orderly work site and are vigilant in and guard against property damage. In short they are professional in their work and attitude...all that and being respectful and amicable too makes these fellows as good to work with as I've come across. It was a pleasure to become acquainted with them as it was with John and his company. The whole experience, including that of the company's office staff, was a positive one.
