We recently moved into an older home and quickly found that the main drain in the house backs up when doing laundry. We called The Rooter Way in Pickering and the technician came out right away to fix the issue. He was upfront with the costs. He was very polite, professional and quick. He advised us on what will be needed to avoid the problem in the future due to the age of the house and what he found to be the issues (roots in the plumbing). I would definitely use him again.

Had a kitchen sink issue that was beyond repair, Described the situation the The owner and he said he would be at the house in an hour. He wa there on time and ready to work. Clean courteous and very professional and polite. This guy is going to go far in this business. His prices were excellent and workmanship excellent . CAll him at 905-576-3122. Youll be glad you did. I found Rooter Way here on Homestars - called him because he had good reviews and was local - Dan answered the phone himself and I described situation - he said he would come between an hour and hour and a half and he arrived at about the hour.
He immediately pinpointed the problem and brought in a large drain snake (we had already tried 3 snakes ourselves to know avail but his was a larger unit.) Some of our problem was leftover from a previous repair several years ago.
Dan worked hard on it for about 2 hours and cleared the obstruction which was not easy (we would never have been able to do ourselves).
After he gave us the option of a camera going down and a full drain flush which would clear the drain completely but may or may not be required in the future.

My options were made clear, there was no high pressure tactics and Dan charged fairly for the 2 hours work plus travel time and specialized equipment he had to use. I also never asked the price before he started so he could have abused that trust and he did not.

I saw the one negative review on this site of his but did not feel that it was reasonable to expect a plumber on the road to fax insurance certificates instantly so I ignored that.

I would happily use his services again and recommend him. I feel I got good value for his services and he provided no incentive to write this review other than his good service.

We have used The Rooter Way on 2 separate occasions and have found the technician to be professional, courteous and very helpful. Our main drain was cleared with a thorough explanation provided of the situation. The Rooter Way also consulted on several other plumbing questions around the house, which enabled fixes to be put in place. Recommend The Rooter Way for your plumbing issues!

We called this company to do an onsite plumbing repair first thing in the morning. We called back during midday to ask a for an insurance certificate (a standard request) and he told us that he was way too busy to fax a document and that we should just get someone else.

Very unprofessional, now we are left in the lurch after he (Dan) committed to the job. I would not use this company at all.

I hired The Rooter Way to do the plumbing in my unfinished basement in order to add a second bathroom in my home. The work was done extremely quickly, and to the highest standard. The licensed plumber was very friendly and honest.

I live in a 60 yr old bungalow and had water flooding my basement during heavy rains. I called The Rooter Way and their technician was at my house within 1 hour and knew exactly what the problem was. The video camera tool that the tech used to inspect all of my drains and show me the problem was excellent. I will recommend them to my neighbours for sure.
