We got estimates from 2 companies. Roy was a good salesman. We liked him. The two guys who did the labour were nothing short of amazing. They worked their butts off and went above and beyond.
That's where the positive experience ends. First rainfall caused considerable sinkage. We contacted Roy who initially doubted our claim but after seeing the photos he was forced to respond. Which he did. By text. Yup, by text. Maybe it's just me but I expected more of a follow up. His solution was for us to landscape and then they would come by. Sounds like fix it yourself to me.
They installed a different sump pump than the one they had on the estimate. When I spoke to Chris (project supervisor) he was confused and promised to get back to me. He didn't.
I got a hold of him and he assured me that the pump they had installed was better. I asked for the info on the pump we got and he said he would pass that on. He didn't.
I called the company to speak to someone in authority to voice my concerns. I specifically requested that it not be Roy or Chris. I was told the owner would call me. He didn't. Chris called me.
I'm at the point where I have had enough. I will finish the landscape repair myself (they repaired the window well and promised to return to fix the rest when the construction next door allowed access).
I will remove the pump they installed and get one with a battery backup. Something that was not offered and actually dismissed by Chris when I brought it up to him.
I get so tired of poor customer service that I'd rather fix it myself than deal with them.
