Last winter was a total disaster with our furnace giving up on us during my son's 5th birthday. It was in February, therefore it was cold outside. We had over 45 family members on a saturday later afternoon. I had no idea who to call since i was busy with my house guests and all the kids!!! my brother in law started searching for a contractor and he found jcj mechanical on homestars. My brother in law explained the emergency and John had a technician withing 2 hours. what a life saver! they replaced the part and left the area clean. also very satisfied with the prices.

Its the end of the summer and beginning of a new fall season and we decided to maintain one of the two most expensive and necessary machines in our home. The central air conditioner and our furnace. Ive dealt with Jcj Mechanical once before just for our furnace cleaning last year. This year we thought we would get them to do both. they have a package deal for both furnace and central air clean and inspect.They did a good job so my partner and I decided we should call John again because of the great customer service they provide. I recommend anyone that requires service to call them.

Ive had John from Jcj mechanical service my central air and furnace for many years now. I really don't attempt to call anyone else because im used to good old fashioned customer service and his crew always respects my home. John calls me after ther job is done to make sure jcj has done a good job. This is why im writing this time consuming review because i feel that his company earned my positive feedback. I had a furnace problem so i called jcj mechanical in last march. The timeline service was as promised. The initial assesment was done and to my dismay a new an expensive part was needed to be installed.Once a again they did the work as promised.It was cheaper than a new furnace.. They were so good you wouldnt know they were here.Yes this project cost me some money. Great company,great service. Was truly wonderful to have dedicated people looking after me. My wife and I finished our basement this summer. After 6 months of stress with contractors the last thing i was thinking was about my furnace, but my wife as usual reminded me of the importance of cleaning the furnace especially after a renovations. We have two small kids and its very important to have clean warm air this winter. I decided to call Jcj Mechanical because they came in to quote us on a new air conditioner, but we decided to wait. Last year we moved into a old house, and the central air is only five years old but we were suffering with alleries. jcj mechanical had dropped off flyers around the neighbourhood for a group buy opportunity, but I ignored it. Luckily my neighbour talked to me about the deal. Unfortunately I called jcj mechanical 1 day later than the expiry of the deal, however, t they still honored the air conditoning cleaning and inspection promo. the cleaning was fairly quick, and the guys were very personable and respectful of our property.

We have a 3 story home in toronto. The attic is very big and we made it into a bedroom, but this summer you just couldnt spend any time there because our central air didnt reach. I called a few air conditioning in the Toronto area and the prices were crazy to get a duct to reach. I finally called john at jcj mechanical and he explained over the phone that he had to come check the home before he could give me a quote. John came over with one of his technicians and had a look around the house and he said he could do it for 650.00 wow!!! they got the job done and my the attic room which is my office space is nice and cool thanks to jcj mechanical. i will call them back for future air conditioning and heating maintenance service.

You know that annoying habit of typical repair people who quote you an arrival time of between 2pm and next June? I'm happy to say this was not the case with jcj mechanical. When my dad's heating furnace unit stopped working last year when they were out of town in Florida, I couldn't waste my time driving accross town to their place and wait all day for the repair guy to show up. I called up jcj mechanical , made an appointment with John , and was reassured Edward (tech guy) would be punctual.

I was more than satisfied. Edward was promt, fixed my dad's furnace quickly, and didn't charge me an arm and a leg for the repair costs. How refreshing to not dread getting something fixed by a professional. Thank you for the quality work i will keep you in mind in the future

The winter season will be with us again very soon uff. I number of years ago my family was getting sick alot and having problems with allergies. Ever since i get my furnace inspected and cleaned once a year we really dont get sick as much. I wanted to thank jcj mechanical for doing a great and honest job all these years. Also, my old central air is still running, but when it breaks down you guys will be the first ones to call.
