After our 15 year old furnace broke down we decided it would be best to replace it instead of having it fixed. After doing a ton of research on the web and making lots of calls, I spotted JCJ Mechanical, along with a 24 hr. Emergency Number. After reading all great reviews I decided to call, and am so glad I did. John answered the phone, and I must say it was nice to talk to someone who had over 40 years of experience and knowledge in the industry, and wasn't just another pushy sales person. John patiently answered all of my questions, then asked me some questions about the size of our home, if we had any cold spots, and what size furnace we had. Then he told me what he recommended, and why. After that John quoted me on a fantastic price which also went along with a "10 Year Warranty" on both Parts and Labor (talk about peace of mind)! Since John knew we had been without heat for a couple of days, he advised he would try and get in touch with one of his installers to see if he could come out right away... and this is where Allan comes in. Allan drove out to Brampton from Scarborough in rush hour traffic, and was at our home within the hour. After talking with John a few times on the phone and meeting with Allan, we felt very comfortable moving forward with JCJ and scheduled an install for the next day. Allan arrived on time, and did a great job of installing our new furnace...it was up and running in under 5 hours! After Allan went over all the details with my husband, he said he also looked at our 15 year old A/C unit, and that everything looked fine....which was good news! After Allan left John called us a little while after to ask if we were happy and to make sure that everything was okay. Ahhhhh, what a perfect ending to a very stressful couple of days. After choosing JCJ Mechanical I would not hesitate to recommend them to my neighbors or to my friends, and I would certainly use them again in the future if need be. At this time I would like to say a BIG thanks to JOHN and a BIG thanks to ALLAN for coming to our rescue so quickly and making our home warm once again.
