Maxxmar has backed up their product 100%.
I purchased six motorized Maxxmar blinds from SAVVY DRAPERY INSTALLATIONS INC. Since I use a wheelchair I can not climb a ladder to recharge the motors I was assured I would be pleased with his solution. When the installation was complete, and paid for, I was left with six bunches of coiled electric wires sitting on the floor. When I questioned this I was told by the installer
that he knew I wouldn't be pleased but that was just the way it was and
walked out the door. Also while he was here I questioned his measurements - the blinds were a little out of alignment - and also the fact that the control had a 2012 date on it while the Maxxmar instruction sheet was for a later model. He blamed the ceiling for the alignment problem and totally denied that the 2012 was a manufacturing date. I checked this out and is was the manufacturing date.
I contacted Maxxmar. The sales person came back and taped the coiled
cords in under the canisters at the top of the blinds pushing one out of
alignment which he didn't even attempt to correct.
I contacted Maxxmar again and they sent an installer, Tony, to see the problem. Tony made minor adjustments and corrections to improve the aesthetics.
When the coiled cords started to slip down I called Maxxmar again and asked if they would replace the motored system with a manual one. They sent their installer to take the blinds down and measure the height for the manual operation so I could comfortably operate it from my
wheelchair. They were brought back and reinstalled with manual controls. They are easy to operate and at the perfect height for easy wheelchair reach. I am very grateful to Maxxmar for standing by their product even when the problem was in no way of their making. The problems solely lay at the feet of the sales person for the misrepresentation and sloppy workmanship.
THANK YOU MAXXMAR FOR YOUR EXCELLENT SERVICE AND TOTALLY BACKING YOUR PRODUCT EVERY STEP OF THE WAY.
