The whole job from the second I signed the contract was a nightmare. This company is very poorly managed. From what I could tell my complaints about my flooring fell on deaf ears. No one seems accountable!! I had to tear it all out at my expense and re do it. Company did nothing to rectify the problem!

Mira Floors did the carpet install in our entire basement and stairwell. Their price was not the cheapest but was competitive and the saleswoman worked hard to earn our business. On the install there were a few issues. We had paid for upgraded under-pad, but when they unloaded the pad into the house I noticed it was the lower grade pad. When I asked the installer he tried to convince me it was the higher grade pad until I showed him where it was clearly labelled. He begrudgingly admitted it was the wrong pad and returned to the shop for the higher grade pad. That set them back but they completed half the install. I had taken a few days off work to be home so I was surprised the second day when no-one showed up to complete the job. After calling the shop and the saleswoman they sent someone over about noon by himself to finish. He ended up working until after we all went to bed. The next day we noticed the carpet lifted on the stairs and along several of the walls and the transitions into the mechanical room and closet weren't finished. Later the next week they finally sent someone back to fix the carpet. We received extensive apologies from the saleswoman and head installer but the experience was a little troubling. As such I can't say I would recommend them.

We have recently done a complete make-over of our 30 year old home, and this included all new flooring. We knew very little about the pros and cons of various options, and the people at Mira took their time to provide numerous samples and answer all of our questions. Our hand-scraped Hickory hardwood, and top quality carpet looks great. All of our concerns were taken seriously, and acted upon promptly. We have, and will continue to refer Lyndon and James to friends and neighbours.
