I conducted a lot of research and requested several quotes on my roofing project before committing to The Cutting Edge. I made the right decision! I am a very picky about choosing contractors and I understand the work and materials that go into a roofing project to make it right. Robert and his crew met my expectations. I appreciated the honest, no non-sense and helpful approach when initially discussing the project details. The estimate was quick and thorough and my questions were responded to in a timely manner. The crew was prompt, courteous and put in a full day of hard work. Pictures were provided to show the various stages of the roof install and the final product which is a nice touch and appreciated. Clean up was thorough and payment was easy.

This company did an incredibly job replacing the roof. Robert was always available to answer questions, he was upfront regarding all costs, and completed the job within the time frame he indicated. The crew was skilled and did an excellent job. They were punctual every day and worked diligently throughout. I’m delighted with the job and would recommend to anyone.

We are very happy with our new roof. Even though we would have gone with another black roof, Robert recommended (for longer life) on any other colour shingle. We decided on the Estate Grey and I must admit, it looks better with the colour of the house and trim.
The crew were on time, worked diligently and cleaned up well upon completion. They were able to manage and fix the unforeseen issues that were discovered under the old roof quickly and professionally.
We also appreciated the photos that were taken before and during the job. It gave us a better understanding of what was done and what we were paying for. We would definitely recommend Robert and Tracie-Marie and their crew at The Cutting Edge Roofing.

I am really happy with the work done by The Cutting Edge Roofing. They were quick to respond, had competitive pricing and were able to schedule and complete the work in a short period of time. They were flexible and easy to work with, all details of the job were spelled out. In addition to a new roof, I had a light tunnel installed in a bathroom and when we ran into an unexpected complication from my plaster ceiling Robert made sure that the repair was perfect even though it required 3 return visits on his part.
Jimmy and Robert really care about doing a top-quality job and making sure the customer is happy with the work. It was good to meet them and I'm glad I chose them to do the job.

Jimmy (site supervisor) responded quickly the request for a quote to replace shingles on the roof and two sheds. On the scheduled installation date the crew showed up on time. During the removal of the old shingles they noticed there was an issue with the corner of our existing skylight (from the initial install) on which they replaced the surrounding plywood and ensured there would be no further leaks. Really appreciated being provided pictures of the job in progress the same day so we could see the quality of the job. The entire team were courteous and cleaned up extremely well - didn't find any debris or nails on the property at all! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quality job at a reasonable price.

We have both a shingle roof and a flat roof. Over the years The Cutting Edge have replaced our shingle roofs, always doing a great job. Last year Robert came personally when racoons had torn off a vent and left us with all kinds of damage. Robert came in the cold and had it all fixed in two visits.
This time we needed to have the flat roof replaced as it had not been done for over 30 years. Jimmy the Site Supervisor is amazing. They drive up, they have the best equipment, everyone knows what they are doing and they get the job done quickly and effortlessly. You know you
don't have to be concerned. I would not hesitate to recommend them

We knew we needed a new roof but when squirrels ripped off shingles and chewed through an area getting into our attic and allowing rain to enter we had to act quickly. Robert came out checked out our roof and put a temporary patch over hole then came back when the weather was better with a crew and stripped roof. Installed a new ridge vent, (on rear addition with vaulted ceiling, that the previous roofer had removed and not replaced) replaced all flashing that was subpar and installed new vents on original house. They found another area damaged area and repaired. Excellent job sending us photos of each step from start to finish. They did an excellent job of protecting our property and cleaning up at the end of the job. I would definitely recommend this company.

The initial inspection of my roof included photo's and recommendations. Rob was knowledgeable and honest. He provided sound advice on next steps. Choosing The Cutting Edge to do our roof was a good decision.
They rang our doorbell right on time and didn't waste any time getting to work. They were careful, and respectful of the property. They worked quickly and efficiently. By 5pm it was as if they hadn't even been here. The property was clean and any furniture that was moved, was placed back. They even repaired damage done by the exterminator after a squirrel was evicted from our attic, and helped to make sure it won't happen again.
I went with the color that Rob recommended and was not disappointed. I highly recommend The Cutting Edge to anyone. Thank you to Rob and his team for making my home beautiful and safe again.
