Our font door Weslock mechanism wasn’t working. I phoned Barcres and explained the issue to Sylvia. She asked me to send photos, which I did and she responded immediately with drawings and advice on how I could fix it myself. I was unable to drive to Barcres to pick up the new parts due to a recent injury. That also meant I was technically one-handed and couldn’t work on the lock myself.

I called Sylvia and she arranged for someone to come by and fix the issue. Ten minutes work by the technician and I am truly amazed and thankful for the incredible service and support! Very fee companies see the value in after service and support. Obviously Barcres isn’t one of them!

We are very pleased with the exceptional service and quality of products that we received at Barcres and we couldn't be happier. We replaced all of our interior doors and our front entry door and Silvia showed us several combinations of levers and backplates to help us find the perfect hardware for our project. Barcres was even able to help us out with hinges for our interior window shutters. The trim carpenter who installed the hardware for us was also very impressed with the quality and design and so was the crew that installed the Baldwin Westclif on our new front door. It's amazing how hardware can transform a space. My house has nicer 'jewelry' than I do now :) We would highly recommend Barcres in a heartbeat. Their service, selection and quality is exceptional.

I was in the process of renovating my home and needed door levers for all the doors in the house. I ordered them on January 10, 2014 and paid them in full. At that time they did not have all of them so I took the four that were in stock and was told that I would recieve the rest on the 15th. As the weeks passed I was told that they would be here soon, time after time again. They finally call me and tell me that they will most definetly be here on March 11. It was a good thing that I called first before going there because of course they didn't have them. Then once again I called them on the 26th and I was told that they can no longer get them and that there was nothing they can do. I asked if there was any way that I would be compensated, perhaps a small discount on another style considering I waited 3 months for nothing. Once again, the response was, "There's nothing I can do about it". I asked to speak to a manager and I was shocked to hear that I was speaking to the owner. Are you kidding me? Where did she learn about customer service?

I would NEVER recommend purchasing any of their products, even if they are cheaper. You're better off spending the money and at least you'll get what you paid for.

Excellent source for door knobs and handles. They have a huge selection of knobs and handles. Staff are very helpful and really know there stuff. Also got really nice pocket door hardware and lock set.

I've had the pleasure to meet and consult all three sisters owning/working at this location and have never had a problem returning items or seeking unique products from their catalog. Very prompt on especial orders as well.

I did a full renovation of my house. Barcres supplied all the hardware for that project(hinges, handles, floor registers).

Sylvia, the sales representative, was very helpful in choosing the different elements.

The quality and the price of their products are excellent.
