Amazing Decks & Amazing Building And Renovations

In the beginning we had a good feeling about the company,
John the owner seem willing to please and came in on budget with his quotation .
Unfortunately we didn’t have the best experience Overall, we weren’t satisfied

John is a very personable and friendly contractor and listened to our ideas and shared some of his with my wife and I. We were also very happy with the carpenter he brought in. Tom paid a lot of attention to details and did an excellent job on our composite deck, including the privacy wall.
I only wished that the job had been completed a bit quicker than it did. Nevertheless, we are very happy with the end result. In hindsight, I would add a second row of decorative light at the steps.

My wife found Amazing Decks online and out of the few quotes we got they were in the middle — a reasonable price. So they built a deck for us and we love it. All the guys were great and they answered any questions we had. We were really happy with them overall and would recommend them to anyone also looking to build a deck.

When I was looking for a contractor to do the deck, another contractor actually referred me to Amazing Building and Renovations. I called them up and John was very easy to talk. His crew was great, very friendly. And the work was done very well. No surprises. Everything was exactly as they said it would be including the price, which was very fair for the Toronto area. I’d definitely recommend them.

Amazing Building and Renovations has quality workmanship. I’ve used them before, but most recently they renovated basically my whole house they added an extension. They were very good with everything including their prices. I would surely recommend them to friends or family.

In the beginning we had a good feeling about the company, but unfortunately we didn’t have the best experience. We had a deck built in the back of our house, but the crew, not John, didn’t seem to know what they were doing. The work didn’t look professional and when John came to take a look he even admitted it and seemed embarrassed of the job his crew had done. He did try to fix it up, which was nice, but it just looks okay now. There’s actually a big tree stump right under our deck that they didn’t take out, just built right on top of it. It looks pretty odd and it cost quite a bit. Although I know John takes pride in his work, the crew didn’t have that in common with him. Overall, we weren’t satisfied and wouldn’t recommend them.

My architect recommended John from Amazing Building to me. So far he and his crew have done the extension porch in the backyard, they took off the popcorn ceilings in my living room and dining room and they are working on renovating my master bathroom. Their really great all around. John is very nice to work with. The cost isn’t expensive but it’s not cheap either — just in between. That said, I would highly recommend him.

I saw the Amazing Renovations truck at Home Depot and decided to give them a call to do my fence. They were really good. John and his staff seemed very experienced and they were very hard workers. I had no problems at all so I would definitely recommend them.

We used John to build our beautiful deck and it is now our home's oasis. The deck turned out to be exactly what we wanted and it add's so much value to our home.

I met John orig at a pickering home show. He was always personable and very willing to discuss or suggest ideas for our new deck. Well two years later, I still kept his card as I was that impressed. Gave him a call and he gave us some great ideas and options. He came over several times with his laptop and showed us various designs according to me ideas and needs and I finally agreed upon a design and budget. He never pressured me. The job was done withing a a weeks time and he kept us always posted. The Deck is outstanding. John even honoured his orig agreement with us even when there were some minor adjustments. I highly recommend him. We are even thinking of building and enhancing our deck more next year and I will call him.
